The Polgar sisters who were incredible chess players are proof that genius isn't just a matter of nature. Their father used them as an example. Especially Judith Polgar. Good video thanks. By the way i remember your name by picturing a Japanese Yen over a Japanese flag, in a purple jar. ;)

thanks yanjaa for picking my comment and giving such a good advice. i will focus on that, thanks. ( On remark - i completed my post graduation with university 2nd rank and all. But recollecting name from memory is a big mess i feel ,,, one day i just forgot a famous actors name and it took me about 3 hours to recollect it from mind. But its not all the time, thats bit crazy right. but it happens.) Anyways i will try to focus and make connections like you advised to do. thanks yanjaa.. i really began to think about "why?" from when i watch your videos.. thumbs up (y) have a great week ahead and thanks again
How long had you been practicing memory techniques before you were like wow my everyday life is benefitting from this? Als how long was it when you didn't feel like you were forcing yourself to memorize or use memory techniques. Hope this made sense
Hi Yanjaa! I’m 14 Yrs old and i am number one fan of yours 🥳 i have a question which is,is it possible for me to be like you someday? That’s it i’m still working to the techniques i’ve learned from someone which is the mind palace and other techniques such as major/dominic system etc. Any tips for me to be more creative???🤗🤗🤗 (Sorry for my bad English)
Plz make a video for the available best books for beginners and do tell how long it takes for these techniques to actually start helping in learning (would really appreciate a response) Big fan, hope u keep making these videos
Have you looked into the research into fixed and growth mindsets? The studies that I've read have had very shaky analyses and while it feels like it's true, I haven't yet read a study which really convinced me that there was strong statistical significance. I may have missed it though.
Nice video! I think myself is that perseverance or patience is the major and basic technique for humans, and in my view God is in only one, he lives everywhere, any country, including us, if "we do good,we are the Gods of the Gods".
Wow!!!this vid really inspirational,i think you really have a photographic memory.its just you're not really 100 percent having it yet.thats what i think
Do you ever feel like you've memorised too much information? Like the names of everyone in that audience. It's pretty unlikely that you'll ever see them again. Is there a way for you to just discard the useless information? (Kinda like dumbledore and the pensive) ignore that last bit if you've never read harry potter.
wait so you don't believe in photographic memory, then what about this dude who drew the new york city skyline entirely from memory after looking at it for 45 minutes? ua-cam.com/video/wdLlrtpoCwY/v-deo.html
If you don’t believe a naturally - i.e. without mnemonics and tricks - exceptional memory exists, look into savants like Stephen Wiltshire or Kim Peek. Or maybe seemingly normal people with an astounding memory like Jake Housler.
Naturally exceptional memory exists of course, but they are often very domain-specific. With the right memory training most people can do feats that seem extraordinary or even superhuman.
@@Yanjaa as a psychology phd candidate specializing in gifted people, geniuses are born this is just science. There are people born with IQs over 160 and a man born with IQ over 200 was doing calculus at 3 which is impossible at that age no matter how much u try. Most of us with average IQs can work hard and get to an advanced level, BUT those geniuses also have a higher ceiling and are able to hit a target that most of us can never hit.
@@Yanjaa there are different types of profoundly gifted but there is a category of "evenly distributed" profoundly gifted people. And profoundly gifted people have incredible memory. Just because you and I have to train hard to get a good memory doesnt mean there arent people out there who were born with it.
Love you, please don't stop making memory monday videos .

There is a condition called "Highly Superior Autobiographical Memory(HSAM)" which is somewhat close to photographic memory.
Killer Frost or in psychology its called eidetic memory, similar to photographic memory and only rarely exist in about 2% of children

Kim Peek rather had verbal adhesia, not a photographic memory.
