Want your kid to be a genius? Just name them something weird, like "Mog" Jk. Not only is this kid smart (not just photographic memory, but SMART) he's also obviously very motivated and can't forget, charismatic! He's definitely going places, can't wait to hear more from Mog some years down the road.
I thought this was a learning disability like adhd that acts like a superpower in very specific situations. like how adhd's hyperfocus is extremely useful but overlooked in the modern world where there is no stimulus that is enjoyable and useful at the same time.
I don't think I think I can say I have a "photographic" memory but I do have an unusually good memory. As did my father and his. My IQ as of a test I took last year was 136 (not that it matters but I mention it as it may have something to do with it) But It is truly a curse. There's so many things in life I find most people can forget about, but I never forget. It's such a detriment to my mental health, and I often find myself envious of people with normal memories.
Honestly, I wish I had what you have. I have obsessive-compulsive disorder, and it cripplingly impedes my working memory. Sometimes, I’ll forget something only seconds after hearing or seeing it. As someone who loves academics, I would love if information became etched my brain following comprehension.
I wonder if you cloned every gifted child a hundred times, would all 100 clones have the same abilities or if there's something within there individual development that triggers it ?
I think some questions are basic, besides when they are asking arithmetic ones. But the best approach should be teaching one how to deduce, allign and a bit of probability studies, cause static facts alone can't make one grow.
I wish they work on scientific discoveries of decreasing aging so these kind of abilities doesn't go to waste. They take pills that could prolong their life
@@chrisc.6015 Not quite. There's a remainder of 2 between the first two number sequences. Then 5*3 is 15. So you take 17*3 is 51. So there's symmetry between the first two numbers and the last two.
I have a photographic memory. I remember seeing Shrek 2 in May 21st, 2004 with my dad. It was in the afternoon. I got a small popcorn and the previews attached to it are Shark Tale and The Incredibles.
I have photographic memory too And I Can delete them And name them And I can remember it 1 time in Birney I took a picture of a tree 2 pictures and I remember them!
Definitely a smart child but photographic memory doesn't exist, he is using memory techniques that he has perfected through practice. Usually the parents say that to attract attention of people.
there is a massive amount of variance in human cognitive ability. eidetic memories exist, generally amongst the highly- profoundly gifted. i don’t suppose this kid has one, but that doesnt mean we can therefore infer a lack of its existence entirely.

eidetic memories are generally accompanied with iq’s in excess of around 160 (except in the case of savants)
Of course he's weird. His parents hated him. Might as well have called him "Quidfac".
