Good video. haven't been prospecting in a while. Would really like to look at an old claim we had in Oregon near Green Peter Lake(?) to see what may be recoverable after the floods of Feb '96 wiped out the bridge and the camp. Will keep watching. Bruce
Thanks for the video. I am in Vancouver WA and a member of GPAA. They have only 2 claims near Vancouver which I've only been to one of. At that GPAA claim I got zero gold. Spent most of my time on non-claim land on the Lewis and Molalla rivers when prospecting. That seams like a great spot you have for prospecting. Sound like your near Packwood. Can you tell me how many claims the club your in has?
Off the top of my head i think its 10? Might be more. The club pretty much has from the gpaa claim to the headwaters of mccoy cr. A fiew stragler private claims in between
You can sluice and pan in all rivers all year long in Washington. The gold and fish pamphlet shows all the rules. You can download it right to your phone. Its under the prospecting without restrictions section👍
Gday mate sorry I haven’t been on UA-cam just don’t send notifications thru I resubbed Those were awesome crevices and big traps nice How good was the gold looked amazing Well don’t to family help too Cheers 🍻 CrouchOz
@Evergreenprospectors ...yes. Just a pan. If you use any kind of sluice, then permits are required. It's important people know this because even if you don't need to have a permit on you, there have been cases where some guys repeatedly work an area, eventually they get asked.
@Condor1970 you don't need a permit on person either if your using a sluice with riffle area under 3 square feet. But good idea to at least have a coppy on your phone to educate law enforcement that don't really know the laws
Im not to sure about up north? I do think Washington prospectors club is from up in that area, id google this up or try a Facebook search. Hope you find something

Eeeehhhhh
I'm here in Oakland, and all I got is a pan and a couple shovels, any thoughts on where i could go to go?
I dont know your area at all but your close to where the gold rush happened. There has to be some adventure to be had near your home
"Re-sibbed", Sonny🧐🤔Go figure 😁👍👌

I know uing a sluce is illegal in some rivers here in WA, I'm still a bit new. Where do you look to see where you can use it?

@@Evergreenprospectors thanks! I was misinformed about using a sluce box.

Good to hear from you! Hope all is going well
A decent video and can feel that cold air and water.
Yes , gets verry brisk in that canyon
I definitely think that is the way to go. Walk to your spot, take you tools on your back. Peace and quiet, no gas engine dredges can get there.
Yep, very relaxing
Nice Hat!
@@Turbochapman thank you👍

Nice place pretty lame where I’m at but I do manage to find real fine stuff but not in any quantity great vid 👍
We have really fing gold out on the beach here, it's fun but takes a lot of patience to get it
If you just want to pan for fun, you don't even need a permit.
@Condor1970 just pans, you need one but it's not required to be on you.
