No beloved English is not the first "official" language. All 11 languages are "Official" they were voted Official languages. That's why In our Parliaments we can debate in all 11 languages 12 by sign language.
Years ago Afrikaans was the "Official" language and English was just the second language.

English is the Business language in SA.....perhaps that is what she meant?
@@phandapanda9644 it is not the only official language, all 11 languages are official. That’s why you see them mixing everything epalamente.
South Africa is the only country in the world where all 11 languages are official languages. Afrikaans was the official state language prior 1990.
I can tell you are young. 😂 1995 was when most things in South Africa were changed and decided. Mandela also made sure that police do not brutalise people.
@@phandapanda9644 yes that is what she means, and that is what I am correcting.
First of all there’s nothing called “business language” when it comes to languages.
It’s “Official languages”
“Business language” is often used when describing
Accounting, Business Economics, Economics, Marketing
Now those are “business languages”
Business in South Africa is conducted in all 11 languages. And every government building is allowed to use any of the 11 languages. In Ireland official languages are Irish and English.

Tell Americans to use Google Maps if they want to see any country's infrastructure and watch more UA-cam videos thats how we also know how dirty most of their woods are .Again they must read books and go to school . I think they are the only people on earth that do not know the difference between a country and a continent
