Every major company in America knows this, however black people don’t see the power they hold in their hands and are constantly spending their dollars with people who don’t care about their well being. You are a very pretty lady and I can tell you also have a good heart. It was interesting listening to your culture shock in America. I wish you and your family all the best in America. Keep shinning and stay blessed.💜🇿🇦🇺🇸
Let's talk about the meds. We in the Carribbean and Africa are culturally shocked. Its too much, planting on the land is what we do. We are not depressed people, we are earth people. Haha, culture shock 101....
The American lifestyle is sedentary. Other countries get regular activity and excercise which can help prevent depression. People also lack regular interactions with family and friends. Caught in the rat race (work, family, work, sleep, repeat). Oh and everything varies from state to state. New Jersey does not allow you to pump your own gas. Americans experience culture shock too when visiting other states. As an American I have never seen a muffin that big from any bakery. Wow!
Hi Ntando,Oh yes I agree with you when you say everything is huge 😂😂😂. Just the couch behind you is huuuuuuuge compared to mine here in SA ,I like it though.
DST is a weird one, the advancement of the clock is a crazy way of taking advantage of the daylight and all. There's quite a few countries that practice DST. Why are they just not choosing one standard time instead of complicating things. One country observing different time zones. Good vid
Thank you Q. I think it works in everyone’s favor so that everyone can take advantage of daylight as you mentioned earlier. Also I think it’s the same thing within the country because it’s huge. Different states are literally like different countries just combined. I’m just still amazed by the concept of ‘shifting time’ backwards and forwards.
Welcome to the DMV... Yho!! This winter DST is hitting different the older I get! Also, one thing about Arizona, is they do not follow DST rules so come tomorrow, they will be 3 hours behind us. That is another shocker on its own! I look forward to your settling down journey and enjoying your content.
@@ntandoikemba6769 yeah…well we use to not anymore. Stopped about two years or so ago because it was not conducive for trade. But even Angola still does it I think
Cape Town suburbs also don’t have Fences/Walls, similar to American Suburbs. In fact most towns in the Western Cape have that fenceless look in the suburbs . Gauteng is the problem when it comes to Giant walls and electrical fences. I was also shocked when I moved to Gauteng from the Western Cape… It looked scary with all the high walls and electric fences. I am used to it now…been here too long. 😅
Daylight saving is here in the UK too. Clocks are about to change here on Sunday and I’ve been here 20mins still can’t get used it. Your reaction to the portion sizes have me laughing 😂
I have been to the USA. The many telephone networks for me wow. NY late sunset So many experiences Even the delicious ice creams My son went there and came back bigger. Like literally grown in two weeks
Oh my gosh, I experienced the same thing with my luggage at the exact same airport😭😂 new subscriber here. I'm actually planning on relocating fully to the US in the next year or 2.
3 months is not long enough to give a thorough experience for such a big country. But I understand how some of the things here are so different from home. As someone who lived in Joburg before, I wasn't that surprised with the changes because there are so many similarities between the two countries.
You normally notice things that shock you about the place in the first months. If you stay long they become normal and they become part of your culture. So filming culture shocks while they still shock you rather than when they have become normal. That's when you will articulate everything well.
Nice to meet you! Of course things are much different in the USA than S Africa! Hopefully a major improvement in some noticable ways! I'm a man of small towns and live in central Michigan! The cost of living here is more relaxed than in large cities, but America has built an infrastructure that allows goods and services to expand easily to rural areas! And stress levels are much lower than in urban areas! Don't be afraid to explore the expanse and variety of America and its muriad of people and geograghy. I think that the experience will be helpful in your understanding!
Lol! The pieces are definitely big, especially in Texas. What I find interesting though is that many African immigrants in SA think our chicken portions much bigger than what they are used to in their respective countries. SA is like the America of Africa.

It's easier to live here if you're from South Africa, at least that's what I think.
That daylight saving time thing, apparently it used to be a war effort thing to preserve more work hours during wwii. I thought they'd passed a law that repealed it
This is how the O'mas put babies to sleep (that like to stay awake). First from the time they wake up in the morning, NO NAPS. Even if they get cranky no naps for about a week or two to reset the sleep pattern. When they are awake you must remove the excess energy with play. Play with them physically all day. Teach them how to play by themselves during this time too. This will make you tired but remember it is temporary. Keep a regular schedule. If your schedule is all over the place, this may not work well for baby's inner clock. Next, about an hour after their last meal for the night, give them a bath in "Sleepy time" baby wash. Then rub them down really well with baby oil. Warm up some socks and put them on their feet. This will help to release any hidden gases that you didn't get with burping. OH and pay attention, take a few days to just watch your baby. You may find that they are light or sound sensitive. If they are either, you'll have to adjust a few things in your home. I won't say the last thing they used to do because I don't want to go to jail. Also it's not necessary.

We have that in Zim we grew up on them in the 70s I candy cake coz it had frosting & was pink!
Hi Ntando,Oh yes I agree with you when you say everything is huge 😂😂😂. Just the couch behind you is huuuuuuuge compared to mine here in SA ,I like it though.
Lol… thank you
Hi! Ntando Ikemba,am from Limpopo SA,i just subscribed
Welcome Limpopo SA. Thank you
New subbie❤️❤️🇿🇦
Loved this video. This was really eye-opening. I had no idea about some of the things you mentioned.
I’m really glad to hear that Bett
New subbie🤟🤟🤟🤟watching from PTA.
Welcome
@@bezisakala4623 thank you Bezi
Let me follow! 👏🏾👏🏾
Hi Ntando. Love your videos. What is the name of te tune (Song) in the background
Thank you Ntsako.
It’s called Looking for answers on the Videoleap editing app
We use to have that in winter too, Namibia...so we had an hour behind
In Africa oh wow… that’s interesting
@@ntandoikemba6769 yeah…well we use to not anymore. Stopped about two years or so ago because it was not conducive for trade. But even Angola still does it I think
The billboards as well are huge dear.
I’m happy to hear that there are places in SA that are fenceless
That's so interesting. I've been in Gauteng all my life, I also had no idea that there are places that have no fences in Mzansi. 😅
Which Cape Town🤣🤣🤣
@@m2ranojaholo79 which Cape Town for real? Lmaooo
Daylight saving is here in the UK too. Clocks are about to change here on Sunday and I’ve been here 20mins still can’t get used it. Your reaction to the portion sizes have me laughing 😂
I had no idea it exists in the UK as well.
I have been to the USA.
The many telephone networks for me wow.
NY late sunset
So many experiences
Even the delicious ice creams
My son went there and came back bigger.
Like literally grown in two weeks
I can believe that lol
New subbie here♥️.You are beautiful and great content
Thank you
Yes in the U.S. they charge you for every thing you're lucky to get Air for free.
Oh my gosh, I experienced the same thing with my luggage at the exact same airport😭😂 new subscriber here. I'm actually planning on relocating fully to the US in the next year or 2.
Hi lovely...😊😁 we hve tge same name thats why i said hi
I paid six dollars at new jersey airport, 9bucks in Atlanta, 4 bucks in Las Vegas. I moved from south Africa too
Hi guys, I'm South African too. Would love to know what made you guys want to relocate specifically and which state in the US are you relocating to?
I love baby, just complaining for attention. 😂🤣😂 too cute.
God's Blessings and Love to You & Your Family.
Thank you Rowen 😊
God bless you
Trevor was also complaining about chicken portions 😂🤣
Yep lol
Lol! The pieces are definitely big, especially in Texas. What I find interesting though is that many African immigrants in SA think our chicken portions much bigger than what they are used to in their respective countries. SA is like the America of Africa.
@@kaybeeMoAfrika Do you live in Texas? If you do.....how is Texas?
@@qaqambamdliva3750 I don't live in Texas, I live in Indiana but I go there every once and a while. Texas is a nice place, especially in places like Austin.
Just seeing you I subscribed immediately
I understand the Airport issues with the cart, and if you pay and it does not work. Then they don't refund you, because its a mass deceptive scheme. I am actually leaving in 3 to 4 years to South Africa. Listen to " The Real South Africa"........I wish you both the best of luck. Its very, very expensive and I live in the South where you get more space and more land. All the best though
The cart system is knocker especially since it hits you while you just land.
South Africa is beautiful. It’s diverse, mostly classy, it also has its quirks but it’s livable. All the best with your immigration
@@ntandoikemba6769 Thank you. I was called to the nations. Jamaica, Africa and limited US.....utilizing the US dollars to ascend. I think it will be easy for me to adjust especially from Carribbean roots. Love your skin, I see you channel growing and I am here to support my people. Lol 😆
Thank you Queen
Happend to us when we landed in Antigua with 10 big suitcases.imagine my husband had to find a ATM to pay the guys👀
It happened to me in 2001,busy pulling the cart only to find out that l need a dollar bill. It was still cheaper than now.
I’d pay a dollar in a heartbeat for it.
1st of all your skin 😍😍😍
Thank you
@@ntandoikemba6769 do you have a skin routine or is it just naturally like that?
@@carree7942 Strange enough I’d never describe myself as someone who has good skin. So I’d say it’s a routine that has improved it. I still get breakouts here and there and I’ve tried to stay clear of dairy products since my baby had gastric discomfort since I breastfeed. I’d say it’s trying to mind what I eat mostly. Thank you
Heey dear sounds like an amazing experience,.. Just few questions.. are the biggest shops we have here also there.. Like your Spar and Checkers?
No. They don’t have Spar or Checkers
New subscriber 👍🏽
Welcome Ben
We pay for those carts here in the UK as well.
Which camera do you use. The quality is amazing
Lol my phone 7

How much is fights from SA TO USA? Total amount
Realistically I’d say from a $1000 for a return flight which is about R15000
I was wondering where is nok then realized ooh New York🤣🤣🤣
It’s actually Newark 😂it’s close to New York. I also found about it just before I left SA.
It's in New Jersey
... As a child, I used to Dream about going to the US, and possibly even living there permanently one day. Fast forward to 2022, I don't even see myself visiting even for one day. All the Best in the States... Nevertheless, this video was enlightening.
Yeah that's me . I can visit anywhere but the USA
If you don't mind me asking,, why do you not want to visit America?
Lol same. I find America scary now, don't think ill visit.
@@hopebuhali3887 America is cool. Very safe in most areas. Police can be crazy sometimes but it's not as bad as the media portrays it. I never worry about being held at a gun point or car hijacked here. Racism is very subtle, so you may not see it unless you're looking for it. It's easier to live here if you're from South Africa, at least that's what I think.
The horror stories you hear about America, racism from police. I wouldn't be comfortable even as a tourist. I'm scared of America
Hahaha your first culture shock was the same as mines sisi!!! How they make you pay for airport trollies?!? I def subscribed!!
Thank you. Welcome 🌻
Can you please make a video about your visit to the salon
I’ll vlog my next salon visit.
