Saying SA is blessed is sort of belittling the efforts and sacrifices of our people to get this country where it is today. Is not like we just woke up and find free health care, free education etc after an all night prayer. People died for this freedom.
True. But there was free Healthcare before in Bantustans. I fully understand what you mean though brother. We still have a long way to go financial freedom is the next goal.
@@mrsoshadabaadman Free where, I grew up a chronic asthmatic, eveytime i went to get my medication i would pay R3.00 at the clinic..Hospitals you were traeted after they will ask for payment. What free re u talking about..now it is free not then..
@@hlengsmthunzi You know I need to review that. I just recall from my youth growing up in Pietermaritzburg.
Chill bro, it wasn't an insult
Nothing is free in South Africa, It Comes From Our Taxes.
You remind me of the Russian proverb that goes like this: the only free lunch you're going to get is on the mouse trap".
They dont know The difference between VAT and SARS .. they think the is money tree in Government ZA
They are sick those politician, No lady we are not blessed, we fight for our freedom in SA, We don't allow politicians to abuse us, we were abused by apartheid, so we won't allow anyone to abused us,
Yeah
No my sister they are not free, we pay taxes so that government can help those who are in need. As for the Abortion placards our brothers from other African countries do that because our system allows who ever wants to abort can go to the clinic and do that for free. Our African brothers do that for a fee.
Thanks dear for your information
Government hospitals and social grants are not free because we the working citizens are being taxed like hell, every month they deducting like R2000 on my salary just for tax
Also foreign we do pay tax? Almost 40 or 35% of the salary
Pay as you earn
@@valeriebukete9638 I am lost, you pay TAX ? and get grant? Impossible sisi..if you earn more than R4000.00 you dont get a grant. If you get paid R4000.00 you dont pay TAX, the company you work for pay company tax but not from you.Which means you qualify for SASSA . careful the law will deal with you.I dont get SASSA neither do I qualify for a free house cos my salary is above average.
You should be grateful that you are working, millions of South Africans, some with degrees have never saw a pay slip.

Excellent video!! I come str8 from America to South Africa and nothing is really a culture shock to me the only thing I have a hard time @ is understanding alot of peoples english here... plus everthing here is called something else
My sister you keep mentioning that we're blessed. That's a very wrong perception. Our parents fought really hard for this, we're not blessed but we worked for this. Nothing is for free, we pay too much Tax to ensure that the underprivileged get those services. Someone had to pay an income tax of 25% or more depending on how much they earn for you to be able to get that R900. Where do you think that money comes from? You're blessed to be staying in South Africa but us South Africans we are not blessed but we enjoying what we worked hard for.
Lol 😂 so foreigners now saying we don't want to go outside the country Mara wena what do you think we should go where ?? To disturb other people in their countries while we have our own country no we can't our fathers fought for this country for us to have a country to live today they didn't go anywhere only politicians went out
Also some african countries fought for south africa and showed support like Nigeria but hey y'all forgot that and most of you started hating on foreigners I mean africans🙂 such is life anyways enjoy your beautiful country
@@ife3343 thank you for fighting for us. yes we do enjoy our country. It's a good thing to enjoy your country
@@ife3343 stop blackmailing us about that pls ,we are tired of this so called african Brothers and sisters ,we have our own problems ,
Destroying our youth by selling drugs ,you people called that united Africa nxm ,
@@zgmkwambo5306 yh I get it not everyone likes the truth...and everybody got their own problems ✌️
South Africans are blessed and have opportunities compared to other African countries ( because we all have been affect by colonisation). We're are lucky that we had great leaders who thought about the future. Now we are benefiting from the sacrifices that were made and South Africans don't see that because we don't travel to other African countries. It is a pity that we don't appreciate the opportunities we have, instant we depend more.
We are not blessed , we matched on street and fought for our freedom, May the soul of my brothers and sisters who perished before 1994
No! We are not blessed , We fought for all this things you talk about,
With the help of other africans country also.

I've been learning Lingala for quite some time now it's a very nice language ❤️
Yhooo I miss my country so much. I’m currently in yours 😂😂😂 in Lubumbashi though I should do a similar video about DRC. This was so much fun to watch. I like your bubbly personality.
Loooool yes do some video there life in RDC or Lubumbashi we love to see
Hope you are enjoying your stay there
I like Yingala especially when yall talk so fast and you cannot tell if its Lingala of French. My favorite artist from Congo is Faliy Pupa and Koffi Olomide
What's wrong with expressing yourself? Freedom of speech is our human rite.
Freedom of speech isn't given...it is taken. It is a tenent of our democracy which we guard very jealously (at least most of us). Politicians or government isn't giving us freedom 9f speech. We demand it. Look what is happening around Zuma, on both sides it is the best example of freedom of expression and equality rights which the whole of Africa should learn from
Good content my sister. But there is nothing for free. The health system and housing is paid for by citizens of this country through taxation.
My sister, it's not free we pay TAX
Phela these foreigners don't know anything about tax
@@IamZulu-8 when she translated in lingala she mentioned that we do pay tax she just forgot to mention it in English & anyways stop acting special if white people never came to SA you wouldn't even be able to bath with clean water so stop shaming other african countries.😹

Even SA has water problem. In urban areas you are more likely not to notice it because they are well catered for. Abortion papers is most likely not from SAns because we know it has to be done by certified people not by every Tom, Dick & Harry on the streets. You have to understand the history of SA first to know where these things you said are free come from and why they are there. People were marginalized during apartheid and could not have houses because the criteria did not favour them. This meant some people would never own houses their entire lives, how possible is that when it is your home country? So the new govt had to address the issue. This is not luck or a blessing everyone has a right to own a home in their country and this is even not yet far from being sorted out. Grants are also given for a reason, there is a lot of poverty in SA that you won't see if u r based in urban areas.
Love your language 💖 please tech us some basics of French and about your country.
I will dear thanks so much
Aw I miss Pretoria. That city was my home for 6years. I lived in queenswood. It has a special place in my heart. I have since moved back to cape Town.

You are right!!!
People should visit the villages, shanty towns , squatter camps and some townships of South Africa and see some of our people's reality. Blessed ? Lol , that sounds like people who come to the cities and live amongst the middle class / upper middle class and the rich in South Africa now they think that is the norm for every other South African.

And thanks for a great 👍video
Thank you too!
I know a lil bit of lingala😂😂
South Africans would love to travel but the majority are poor so that is not possible. Only the very privileged can afford it. One serious problem in SA is teenage pregnancy...because the girl often has to struggle as a single mother and some depend on the next boyfriend to provide for them and this becomes a vicious cycle. My advice to all young girls is to complete your education and training and become completely independent so when your partner/ husband/live in boyfriend moves on to the next opportunity (another woman with more money or other opportunity), you will NOT mentally and emotionally fall apart. Sex education should begin in the home, although parents were raised very conservatively. Teenage kids mostly don't understand the ramification of unwanted pregnancy so if parents took the responsibility of educating their kids instead of leaving this up to "the street" a lot of suffering would be avoided. Also, very few South African young men do not know HOW to take responsibility because they emotionally mature so late in life.
You just type rubbish
All rubbish.... You think you know all South Africans...
