I like how they readdressed Illidan in Legion, but it did feel like something they realized needed to be done with the benefit of hindsight (as opposed to an organic continuation of the story); people were rightly underwhelmed that he did basically nothing for all of Burning Crusade. He just sulked at the top of the Black Temple until raiders came to kill him.

I had so much fun in legion, especially the campaign, the lore, i loved it. And i remember each class had their own covenent and campaign too
Legion was easily one of my fave expansions. I'd put it second to wrath for me personally.
