I just realized that the soldiers have an empty melee, physical and concealment skill when you change the equipment, i hope they add something about that in the next update.
Remember that this is still a relatively early alpha/beta game. I know it feels pretty "complete" but there's a LOT of features down the road.

He as a side note (sorry for this in advance) You should play some of the older missions again once you complete the campaign as new mechanics have been added which make the situation of older maps a lot more chaotic and dynamic :D (its fun to see you stru... i mean attempt levels)

weirdly uplifting song at the end :) you cannot wage war without casaulties. I was thinking, would you mind to throw together a video about crowdcontrol? There is that stinger grenade, for which i don't see much use. Also try out shotgun in missions like this. Its a beast!

The second you said "I kind of wish I brought wall charges" I had to come down here and say that that was my immediate thought as well. Blowing a hole into the main area and establishing a dominant defensive perimeter inside the enemy space would have been my first course of action.
As to civilians, we don't negotiate with terrorists, and we certainly don't negotiate with their hostages or shields.
@@connorwinter9257 If you go around killing a bunch of civilians whilly-nilly you may well encounter more terrorists next time.
War is political and counter-insurgency is especially so.
That song at end really combine a lot with the sadness of losing half your group.

That's why we only use the donut charge indoors in the conventional world. That dynamic/reflective pressure is no joke.

All the while watching this vid, all I could think is "How the HELL are you supposed to play pool with the table in such an awkward place, so close to the walls"

It looked a little sloppy in the planning mode especially with him losing people so easily but playing it in real time it was super smooth and well executed. And the 2 casualties look almost unavoidable
I wish they'd implement some of these factors you consider. Still finding beaching pretty hard to sync with grenades consistently and so forth.
The devs seem pretty keen on making the game flow better. I'd love to be able to make an explosive breach and immediately toss in smokes or flashes without doing so much finagling with the go codes.
If they could link two units to one switch for breach and one grenade, that'd be enough. If I want more I'm happy to fiddle with it.
Or pre-programmed orders you design yourself! That's a bit much and wouldn't rotate or adapt to every doorway but it'd be cool.
Maybe the ability to “prime” a handheld and throw on order. Like the will have their gun down and banger in hand ready to throw on a go code.

Nice work. I managed to do it without losing anyone on my first run by use of a wall charge, but if you don't have that the fatal funnel is pretty ugly.
I'm interested by the idea of using short handhelds first and then sending long ones, I just lobbed them short and deep as the breaches went.

About wall charges and possibly killing "Civilians" that are involved with terrorists, I think they made their bed and they will die in it. But it depends on the ROE, right?

My plan on first view: wall charge the lower west area so we can dominate the only exit point from the master bed that we know of. 2 man bang and clear the north west area while 2 man watch master bed door. North 2 man clear north east sector. Sniper doing damage while the enemy has no exit. Single man clear bathroom. Stack on master door. Bang room and balcony on enter. Dominate master room, guns pointed at balcony. Bang/rubber balcony and 3 man clear. Last man watching master door for reinforcements. Capture target. Send team back out to hold key areas of the VIP tandoori route.
I do have a question, when you are clearing a room, do the guys sort of plan it out in real life and say "I'll go right you go left" or do they just go based off of what the man in front of them does?
