Another option for the radio is to get one of those cruiser radios and install it in one of the fairing compartments. I used a $100 (US) Boss unit off of eBay that has AM/FM, aux input, and Bluetooth as well as having 4 speaker pods included. I pulled the speakers out of the pods and mounted them in the stock locations and put the radio unit in the left side fairing compartment.
I have 23 year old Goldwing (2000) se. The only thing that I am disliking more and more is the way it is drawn to semi trucks out on the road. It literally feels like it's being vacuumed towards the trailers!! I road a 2004 ( a friend's bike), and it's way more stable than mine when being passed by big rigs. I wish I could find a way to make mine more resistant to the semi vacuum.
@Trail Trash Garage yeah with several acres of plastic and theater screen size windshield it's definitely affected by semi's and motor homes as well as cross wind. But....I finally pulled the trigger on a new trike from Heartland Honda.
bold move riding NS in January, even this year
Bold.....or Stupid...muhahaha..
Great job on the wing, looks great
I can't wait to ride...still 3 months away
Thanks... more to come stay Tuned.
Smooth sounding ride.
Something special about a Wing!

I get a bit of that on all bikes I think the reason the Wing feels particularly affected is the faring size.
