Looks great. How hard was it to wire up? I'd like to do the same thing but the wiring has me nervous. Thank you!
these are just supposed to go on top of the grips, thats why the heat shrink is that size. That will keep the clutch side much warmer as well.
Would love some DXF files for this lol
I have 2 of these bikes, an 81 and an 83
A Bluetooth cassette tape works great
Ever check how many AMPs they draw high vs low, some bikes being pretty limited for power.
HI HOW CAN I GET THE BACK PLATE FOR THIS RADIO ?
just bought a 1982 kz305b im rebuilding your videos help out a lot i appreciate it
Just picked a wing up wouldn't be easier to put a 12v outlet plug in a Bluetooth fm transmitter and still have a tape deck that's what makes it cool no video how to put a 12v out to the auxiliary in a gl1500
You made an excellent video & did a great job. I have a taillight spoiler on my 2007 Gold Wing but the rack that you used looks plenty tall enough. Thanks for helping other riders with your videos.
You talk way too f------- much, I instantly turned you off.
What I’ve learned there’s not allot of stuff out there for the GL1500, and if you do find it it’s used or very expensive, the same parts for a GL1800 are allot cheaper. It sucks because I can’t afford the 1800. Bearly afforded the 1500.
I originally got grip heaters intended for use on snowmobiles and installed them on my motorcycle many years ago. They worked great and were plenty warm. I think they were the Kimpex brand (same as Tusk brand) I usually ran them on low because your hands will be way too hot on high. Made riding in freezing temps so much nicer! I still install them on my bikes now too. They are alot cheaper than heated grips (I like to keep my stock grips) and work great!
Worst video I've ever seen.
Where do you get your used bikes in Nova Scotia I have recently started rebuilding a kz440 from fB market, wondering if you could help me with finding a motorcycle junk yard.
Rhinowalk sells the 3 bag 65 Liter set for $59 US. Why did you say nearly $200 Canadian ?
Good video mate ! Learnt about continuity testing the frame ! How are the grips holding up? Have heard need more insulation off the bars to prevent heat loss
i did the same and it works.. only i hear the altenator whining over the speakers. Not when listening to the radio only with using the ''cassette player''
Wow! what an absolute waste of time it was watching your video. You don't show where the connections are or how to identify them.
Put it back to original
I tried replacing the gas tank key assembly on mine but the new one leaks? What did I do wrong?
what tires should i put on mine its a 1980 440 tld
I'm wanting to know the same, can't find the episode he did the tyres
Thank you very much for the video it really helps.
Absolutely garbage
Sry you feel that way.
great video , so the 1500 honda goldwing, 1992 . no aux button . I purchased the cassette with wire, installed the tape , connect the wire to my phone, but can't hear anything . any advise
I assume it works with a regular cassette? Maybe a faulty adapter?
Same here, cant hear enything, did you fix it ?
Exactly what i was looking for, thanks man
great video. 👍 . how's Bob's wing .
Can these work on a snowblowers Stader?
Hmm if its a 12v DC system theoretically yes but I'm not sure how much juice your Snowblower stator would put out. Many small engines run a AC based system.
I’ve already installed them. I added LEDS with a bridge rectifier and bypassed the halogen to free up more juice. They work perfectly!
@@demetriosa7646 awesome!
Sorry just saw the thing verse.
Would you be willing to to share the STL file?
Wow!! So maybe just a jump starts gets other parts moving that don’t do with a regular kick start. Makes sense. I hope I get mine started. Awesome that you never gave up! So what stater do I buy for my 2001 drz 400 kick start? ;) any suggestions?
No it just gets the motor turning faster and longer than a kick start. If your DRZ has a starter motor replace with a OEM or take it to a shop what specializes in starter/alternator motors for a rebuild. If your DRZ never had a starter motor I don't imagine you could make one work without serious modification.
Put gas
How about a hotter plug?
But the bike worked before! Don’t sound like all these shops that just seemed to make money off the people they smile and say hi at only in their shops. It never had an issue bro. So frustrating and it’s awesome you are being so transparent. Great channel
This is ridiculous! Should be able to take out the old stater and put in the new! Unless time is money and all mechanics get paid more the more complicated things get that take more time. What would a real shop do?? Fix it right??
What does the cdi have anything to do with?
Personally I would have liked a bit more detail on the electrical side, less of the 3d printed plastic. Yes the plastic looks good, however it's a classic bike, using wood, steel, aluminum or any other material could suffice to fill in the holes. That said it's one of the better yt tutorials. Good job.
Fair enough!
Does the 2-into-1 exhaust change the way it runs? Did you have to do any jetting afterward? I really want to put high mount on my 440LTD,, but a little intimidated by the project.
Turning in a timelapse us bad luck i think.
Had mine in 1985. Drove it to work every day in Houston traffic for 3 years before I was rear-ended at a stop light and it totaled the bike.
Damn dude that sucks!!!!
I gotta 440 i got when i was about 15 im 18 now and im gonna actually get it running after 3 years
Shouldn't the floats prevent your carbs from overflowing? New to bikes and the 440 is my first one and I'm having a bear of a time - really appreciate your info.
cant find replacement parts for the oem petcock so i'm switching to full manual anyways :)
hey bro, where did you get the carbs parts?
I need everything you made in this video for mine
Can you make me one for my GW
I'm working on my 88 GW
No Englisch
I have a local 3D printer service, so I just need one of each part? Does this print only to this brand of radio?
I was hoping you would just chunk a car radio in it and how to wire it up
So far loving your videos, they are my type of videos, may I ask what program you edit with?
the similar ones ive seen are meant to go on the grip itself, how are these so far?
