Hi Danny Wow great ideas with humidifier, fan and low proximity in the room. Will be waiting for updates and seeing greenery getting greener. Good luck 👍 !!!
Everytime you do videos like these and explain air flow etc. I want to yell, Science!!!!! Haha Excellent video and the setup is ingenious. Your boyfriend is proving time and time again to be something of an engineer. Two thumbs up
Great idea in the way you set everything up. I am doing something similar with my Miltoniopsis that I just got, I have her in spagnum moss, sitting inside of a clay pot and I brought a mini fan for her, too. She has 3 spikes and about 25 buds!!! Good luck to us both! :)
Hey Danni 😊😊😊 I have dogs and have been using the surplus food dishes with the holders for some of my phals, but have also been using the water buckets as well !! They make ideal holders to hang off the edge of the shelves. I have 3 Draculas which I have hanging off a spare grooming arm which I used to use for the dogs and they are easy to adjust as well. Look forward to seeing how your Draculas progress.
I bought those grids from Daiso, they had hooks, baskets and even hot-glue hooks that you can stick to the wall and you dont need to drill or anything, so I bought them all for a cheap price.
You've given us so many great ideas! I would love to keep a Zygo alive...they are so beautiful and their fragrance is intoxicating. A wonderful thought of a cooler environment 😊 Best wishes on your sweet little Monkeys.
Just recently found your channel and I’ve learned so much! And I’m sure my orchids would thank you if they could. I’m a Paphiopedilum lover myself so I always love learning more and seeing others’ collections. Keep up the good work.
Oh boy, just saw that we have the same zygopetalum. I just recently brought it home and love it so much already but as you might expect, I'm a bit worried about it ^^
Such a fantastic idea! I have left wire shelves as well and they are already paid for so why not use them right? You are brilliant, thanks for sharing as always and good luck with the cool growers!
There i s a fan which shoots out cool, humid air on Amazon. What do you think of this idea, Dani? I have several orchids which are going to need a cool-down period.
I’m wondering if it would be easier and safer for the Dracula, when potting it, to wrap the moss around the roots and then wedge the orchid into the pot? This ensures that moss is around the roots.
Hey Danny, thanks for this beautiful video as always... My macodes petola it’s doing “great” (but the leaves are a little bit of folded and keeps growing up not bushy) I think it’s because the humidity that I have inside my home 50-60%. I google pictures and seen that most of the people have them in a little terrarium or mini green house so the humidity’s won’t go down. Do you think I should do that or change it from moss to a terrestrial media??
Timothy Roller I went on vacation to Montreal las year and the temp was 45°C with 100% humidity. (I complained the whole time cause I felt sick and weak, my bf yelled at me and called me annoying basically... come to find out it was a terrible heatwave that killed 35 people!) not fun! But I do want to visit again 😅
@@LushLookingLocks How the hell did this happen in Montreal?? I haven't been in the summer, but i didn't know any Canadian city outside BC could reach conditions like that!
Hello, I wanted to ask you a question. Should I fertilize my orchids when they are in bloom? I recently bought two new Phalaenopsis and both of them have a bloomed spike, but I don't know whether fertilize them or not just like the others that I have not in bloom now. I'll be waiting for your advice. Looking forward, Raciel.
MissOrchidGirl assumed that. Nothing wrong with it! 😂 by the way, I asked you about fragrant paph in Sunday live stream... I went back to get the ID but it got cut off... 😣 Can you spell it out again for me? And while I am messaging this, my daughter keeps telling to make sure to tell you that she adores you....
Great set-up. I love that you call it the cool corner. It's where the cool kids hang out!

I just found a new bloom on my coconut orchid. Now im like oh goodness how do I get you to stop my whole house smells like almond joys 🤣🤣🤣
Yay! So happy to see a new video up about orchids I don't plan to ever own. There's just nothing more relaxing. Thank you! :)
You can add a litle bit of cold water in the humidifier and you can lower the temperature.
hehe ! i was the first to have my orchies on a wall, i guess its a compliment that orchid room and other people are doing it now !!
Definitely a flower spike Danny, love the new set up, looking forward to seeing the blooms. Thanks for sharing happy Growing and stay safe.

I love the idea with the extra shelves!!
I am surprised about the big efforts that you are doing by draculas....I hope all this environment will help them to bloom. Thank you for the video.
Oh my inovation, so neat I cant wait for updates. Hum I was myself wondering if a humidifyer would work. Yes 👏
Cool setup, literally and figuratively! I like this idea. Great job 👍🙏🏻

Hi Danny, I love your videos. You may post a 30 minutes video and i’ll still watch it till the end. Never skipping your videos 😍

Wonderful video, I learn everytime I watch them, thank you. I just bought a masdevalia and I am quite nervous about it. I will repot it in a clay pot.
Good luck!! I’m sure it will work. I have a hard climate for cool growers too, always hot here lol
Good luck with your Draculas! Multumesc 🍀❤️🌸

Danny, you are brilliant... but your comment on your boyfriends suggestion of the wire racks you already have was too cute and just friendly!

"If you've ever experienced heat and humidity together it's not pleasant" *stares outside at 32°C and 80% humidity. Yeah...

Hi Danny. What happened to your Decula orchids?
Hey, Danny, you are such an inspiring person! Go on girl!
Hi Dani,
Any updates on these orchids?
The grower I am receiving my Dracula Lotax from suggested to keep it by air conditioner it doesn't need much light either she said.
Totally charming and cute new profile pic Danny :D
Sounds great! I love the bird hook! However though.... Do you remember ‘M’ hook by Maria Young? I wonder if it’s easy and cheap to make ‘O’ hooks....
Hi, it is, I just prefer the prettier looking ones, I'm not good at crafting 😉 plus I have birds so I have spare ones too 😂

🧡 wish you a more relaxing day tomorrow!
Hi Dani, Love your videos. How long do you let the humidifier run every day?
Hi, now about 16 hours, but in the summer I might need 2 of them so I can run mist 24 hours, we'll see how things go ☺️
Hey. Does anyone know anything about how to care for cryptochilus orchids? Just purchased one and i cannot find any information online
Where can I get one orchid like that ?
draculas can tolerate 25 degrees at day time but they need a cool down at the night
Nice new avatar! 😉
😉👍👍
What’s the update on your Draculas 🤔
Have you gotten these to bloom?
Hi, nope they doed eventually
@@MissOrchidGirl 😢
@@MissOrchidGirl what killed them, do you know? Temperature? Not enough humidity? Lighting? I wonder cause I would like my own to survive!
Any updates on this? How did they do?!!
Not great not great, it’s too hot here for them 😫
