Reminds me of a Federal Signal 2001 siren from the parking lot of an empty restaurant near an apartment I used to live in. It looked AND sounded like this one, too.
Model: 2001-SRN(4th gen 2001-DC) Corporation: Federal signal Manufactured: 1988-2002(succeeded by the 2001-SRNB that is the predecessor to the now 2001-130 that is still in production). I recorded the same model that is solar powered.
Although some people call it a “Tornado Siren” but it’s actual name is “Outdoor Warning System” or “OWS” sometimes it’s an “Emergency Outdoor Warning System” or “EOWS”. Oftentimes when a siren goes off twice, it usually means two things.. a system malfunction or a severe thunderstorm approaching.
@@themysteriousoa4466 There wasn't any storms coming, so it must have been a lucky malfunction. What is interesting though, is the fact that that was actually happening on the first time I ever went siren watching

The UA-cam video title is: “Civil Defense - Warning Sirens Collection - Episode #01 Remake & Extended”and the account name is: “Aliultate009” and the Thumbnail is of a yellow siren on top of a building, along with the words: “Sounding Off” edited to be below the siren.

This siren is unable to do Alt Wail because it has no coding dampers, It's only capable signals are Alert, Wait/Attack, and Fast Wail, if you would like more information on this or any siren, feel free to ask!
@@SirenRecordingsofIowa this is horrible advice. any siren you go to you should absolutely wear hearing protection. flat out saying you don't have to is very irresponsible. 2001s are very loud, and very high frequency. which means they damage the ears more than say a 508 would.
@@Nirvoxide While that is true, most people I see also including me I don't see wearing them, what I said is a fun suggestion not something you should do.

They didn't shut it off mid test, it went for exactly one minute, that's the normal
