I take vitamin D3 with vitamin K2, I think it's very important to take these two. I don't take fish oil, I prefer Omega 3's from algae. I take Magnesium L-Threonate.
I've been taking all these for awhile. I'm 53 and can exercise everyday. Weights, mountain biking. These supplements work. Just make sure to take them everyday.

Thanks for this I am over the age of 60 and already do the vitamin B12 in the magnesium and the other supplements that you suggest. So, I am a little leery of taking creatine even though I'd like to since I'm now trying to lose weight gain muscle by going to the gym and also watching my diet. I should not be taking creatine monohydrate should I if I have one kidney and have chronic kidney disease stage 3?

Hello Doc. Thx for sharing;) I'm 45 yrs old retired pro boxer . I still workout alot . Bit often get tire .sick and muscle fatigue. Pls advise me of any good supplement. Although I sometime get high blood pressure. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thx alot Xpro Boxer
Hey Xpro, thanks for writing in and great question. It's wonderful you're still staying active in your boxing retirement. Regarding getting tired/sick/fatigued, the reasons could be numerous. But a few tips that may help keep you going can include the following:Ensure proper hydration. We recommend drinking half your body-weight in ounces + 32 to ensure you're body is functioning effectively and efficiently (so for a 200lb person, consuming 132oz). Ensure proper rest and recovery. We are talking about getting a MINIMUM of 7+ hours of sleep. Consider setting your temp to 70 degrees (optimal sleep conditions), wearing a mask/ear plugs to avoid sleep interruption, and avoid technology 1-2 hours before sleep, as the blue light can alter your sleep quality. And lastly, consider taking the supplements from this video, especially the multi-vitamin, Vit D3, and Creatine to help boost some energy levels overall. -The FFP Team

Thanks for writing in Larry and great question! CBD has shown to be somewhat promising for helping ailments like inflammation...in animal studies. Unfortunately, as of now, there is a lack of studies performed on humans to test this and further, CBD alone may not help as much as taken with THC (consumed or inhaled from medicinal cannabis). Additionally, long-term effects are unknown at this point so if CBD is something you are considering taking, we recommend talking with your doctor to see if it's the right course of action for you. -The FFP Team
Hey Juls, thanks for writing in and great question! While there is potentially a link to elevated levels of creatinine (the byproduct of creatine once metabolized in the body) with hypertension, more research is needed to definitely claim if there are direct correlations. To be safe, please consult with your doctor on whether or not supplementing creatine is right for you. -The FFP Team
Hey Gary, thanks for writing in and great question! You can find a comprehensive list of various Magnesium sources and the benefits of each from the following guide: pulse.ly/p2g7lxqdoq Best of luck and thanks for watching! -The FFP Team
Very good and informative video, two things I will skip are Magnesium and b12 by itself. For the very first week, I felt very energetic after taking them, but after week 2, I was feeling very fatigue and exhausted, so I discontinue to take them and it took all the tiredness out. is there a reason that b12/ Magnesium would cause such things like tiredness/sloppy/sleepy, I mean I could not find any video or literature on that. Thanks
Hey RH, thanks for writing in and great question. We are big proponents of Apple Cider Vinegar and in fact, recommend consuming 1-2tsp with 32oz of water first thing in the morning. Not only will you re-hydrate yourself after (hopefully) 7+ hours of being dehydrated, the ACV may help curb hunger and lower blood sugar levels to help your body fight off fat. Regarding pips, (assuming them as fruit seeds), it depends on the fruit. Some can provide fiber, as well as anti-oxidants, and early studies show that they may even help fight off infections and improve gut health. However, larger amounts may decrease fertility and hurt your overall DNA structure. So the bottom line is that eating them in moderation can be very healthy for you but more information may be necessary to definitively make these claims. -The FFP Team
for the multivitamin, it recommends Maximum Vibrance. Can you be more specific? Is this the powder? Does it contain all of the other supplements you recommend, or in addition to those?
Hey Andy, thanks for writing in and great question! Green Vibrance Powder is a super greens powder that not only comes with super greens, but probiotics and a complete multi-vitamin as well. If using this supplement, you would not need to take additional vitamins or probiotics as you'd be covered. However, if looking for a more all-in-one product, check out our Super Fuel Protein powder that provides a high quality protein, super greens, probiotics, vitamins, and digestive enzymes...all together! pulse.ly/cnqxsqmgpt -The FFP Team
Cod Liver oil has Beta Carotene which the body converts into Vitamin A which is an essential nutrient for skin, eyes, lungs, and Brain function. Too much though is bad especially in older populations
Hey Khalid, thanks for writing in and great question! You can take most of them in the morning with your first meal of the day. Magnesium we recommend to take before bed as it can help enhance sleep and Creatine we recommend to take post-exercise session (or with your first meal on non-exercise days). You can find a list that we recommend here: pulse.ly/b217ep4e2v Thanks for watching! -The FFP Team

I'd love to be able to recommend that. A lot of it is based on specific product serving sizes... 200mg of a particular supplement in one product line may be 2 caps vs 4 caps. We'll 100% keep that in mind when we recommend specific brands.

Awesome my friend 💪 we developed a testosterone booster with ashwagandha, please check it out: store.fitfatherproject.com/collections/muscle-building/products/fit-father-testosterone-booster-rx?variant=31718077530135

Wonder if cbd oil is good for inflammation in shoulders , knees after workouts
Thanks for writing in Larry and great question! CBD has shown to be somewhat promising for helping ailments like inflammation...in animal studies. Unfortunately, as of now, there is a lack of studies performed on humans to test this and further, CBD alone may not help as much as taken with THC (consumed or inhaled from medicinal cannabis). Additionally, long-term effects are unknown at this point so if CBD is something you are considering taking, we recommend talking with your doctor to see if it's the right course of action for you.

Thanks for the info. I’m taking my maintenance for hypertension it is safe to take creatine monohydrate ?
Hey Juls, thanks for writing in and great question! While there is potentially a link to elevated levels of creatinine (the byproduct of creatine once metabolized in the body) with hypertension, more research is needed to definitely claim if there are direct correlations. To be safe, please consult with your doctor on whether or not supplementing creatine is right for you.

Where are the links to the recommended products?
Hi Derrick! Here is the list of the Fit Father recommended products: fit-father-project.helpscoutdocs.com/article/58-ffp-recommended-products
Thanks
What if you took them before going to bed?
Thanks alot Doc
Do you take creatine?
What about pips and apple cider vinegar. How much and in what form
So the bottom line is that eating them in moderation can be very healthy for you but more information may be necessary to definitively make these claims.

for the multivitamin, it recommends Maximum Vibrance.

Hey Dr A. Can you please post a video stating difference between fish oil & cod liver oil. Thanks and keep up the good work 👍
We will add it to the video list! :)

Cod liver oil is a very good source for vitamin D.
Cod Liver oil has Beta Carotene which the body converts into Vitamin A which is an essential nutrient for skin, eyes, lungs, and Brain function. Too much though is bad especially in older populations
I’m 54 soon to be 55 in June. I do yoga everyday with weight lifting
Awesome my friend! Keep it up 💪
When are the best times to take each of these supplements?
Hey Khalid, thanks for writing in and great question! You can take most of them in the morning with your first meal of the day. Magnesium we recommend to take before bed as it can help enhance sleep and Creatine we recommend to take post-exercise session (or with your first meal on non-exercise days). You can find a list that we recommend here: pulse.ly/b217ep4e2v

Enjoy your videos.. Thank you
Good video, but serving suggestions per product would be appreciated.
I'd love to be able to recommend that. A lot of it is based on specific product serving sizes... 200mg of a particular supplement in one product line may be 2 caps vs 4 caps. We'll 100% keep that in mind when we recommend specific brands.
Alright, good point. Thanks.
Man I’m 46 and I’ve never have been so tired , my body used to be a machine , now I can’t stay awake for more then 12 hours without having to take a nap , I’ve lived on 5 hours of sleep forever , now I sleep to much
