Such a fun list of Christmas projects! We have had a lovely fall season here in Ontario, but will also be happy to see the snow whenever it arrives here!
Such a fun update! My all time favorite Christmas charts (too many to choose just one!) are by designer Madame Chantilly… stitching many this season and having such a great time!
I love, love, love the Snowy Farm ornaments. I Amy have to look I to buying that pattern! Also the Cocoa Quilt and Cocoa Quaker by Primrose Cottage. You’re such an enabler!!
Love your floss to video. We have had a beautiful fall too but now the snow come and winter is here. I think spice was so cute in your video so curious love your quilt that you have that you are working on. It’s beautiful love the colors. I really liked your November Crosstitch finish that she put on the trivet. That is so pretty.
You are so pleasant to watch Kim. I’ve been stitching for years & sometimes it’s the quick simple designs that are so fun to do between projects. One of my favs is an Animal Cracker by Stacy Nash. It’s Theodore the cat that I turned into a standup.
Hello. What a great quilt for your first fully finished quilt! Good job on that! That’s a really great list of Xmas stitches you showed. And we had a good snowstorm in MB this week and all our roads were closed so yes winter is now here! Perfect for all three Christmas stitching.
We got the same storm (I’m only 5 minutes from the MB border)! Our roads were also terrible, we are on our second snow day, stuck at home today! I’m so glad you liked my list, thank you!
I'm enjoying your videos and can see you have caught the Quilty bug!! The first quilt you completed is so pretty and you did a great job on it. I also sew my binding down by hand and while a little more time consuming, I really like the look of it better than binding totally by machine. Great idea with the 10 Christmas patterns, and while some are easy, they are all so sweet and worth stitching. Nice job!
I sure did catch the quilty bug, and I couldn’t be happier about it! I was so worried about hand binding but I actually enjoyed it, it’s just as relaxing as cross stitching to me!
Lovely video, as always. 💛 I enjoy your channel so much! I don’t really have a favorite chart, but right now I am really enjoying stitching the Tart Tin Snowflake Ornaments patterns by Stoney Creek. ☺️
Hello from Michigan! We may get our first flakes Thursday but they will not stay. Very strange indeed. Thank you so much for sharing where to find the fox pattern. I had already been thinking about getting that book - now it is a sure thing. You are amazing! To be doing such difficult work so early to stitching - then to be doing models for a designer. You inspire me to improve my work. Mary
Favorite Christmas chart -- the cardinal by Pigeon Coop. Had no idea it was from Max (I checked out his site after watching your video). I love cardinals and have one I am going to start this week-end. Will add the Pigeon Coop one to my birthday wish list. But, I love buildings too. LOL - o so many to dream about.
Last year I did the Religious Christmas Trio from Primrose cottage, and I really like that. I've been working on Winter Rose Manor, had to restart it on different fabric, but it's also a favorite. Really there are so many favorites that it's hard to pick just one.
Awesome, i absolutely love Winter Rose Manor, one of the most beautiful designs I have ever seen. I hope to stitch it one day also! Thanks so much for watching!
It is so lovely to have another Canadian flosstuber…I am the Stitching Owl from London Ontario. I am also a quilter so I enjoy seeing both crafts on your videos. 🧵🪡
Welcome to my floss tube list. Very enjoyable your video and stitching. I love to see young ones get into quilting. I am a huge fan of Pigeon Coop Designs. I stitched the fox first also. Did you see the two new charts of winter birds? Beautiful.
Thanks so much for another great video!! I just finished the Frosty Garland for Teresa Kogut's Jingle Ball class. So fun stitching on perforated paper!
I haven't tried to start Christmas yet, but this year will be the year! I am itching to make some Primrose Cottage pieces! I just received the Nativity Trio, and the Christmas Quilt. Oh! And I had bought their 2024 Snowman earlier this summer, thinking Christmas in July would happen, but it didn't! Got to get a move on! Thank you for sharing the beginner Christmas pieces! I will need to get these done first though!❤❤❤
Right! Christmas is so much fun to stitch, it’s hard to pick a favourite. I have Glitter Village in my stash, hopefully one day I’ll stitch it. Are you doing all the called for?
I love Christmas 🎄 charts. Just started one today of a gingerbread house. Its in an ancient book .. literally in the 80s but so cute! I just finished Festive Blizzard which is about a five year old chart. Love new ones too but ill stitch old, new or in between... whatever speaks to me. Nice video 😊
Christmas Carol by The Primitive Hare is a favorite Christmas chart. I've stitched one already but want to stitch it again! This time on a higher count tabric because my first was on 30ct and it was humongous. Congrats on your quilt finish, it's pretty. Don't sell yourself short, I think any quilt put together by a beginner is huge!! And no, I dont quilt😊 Happy stitching!
Thank you! I may have given myself a small pat on the back when I finished the quilt 😂. I looked up the Christmas Carol design, love it, especially the horse and carriage!
Hi Kim. Spice is adorable, whenever I film our Kitty has no interest in being part of it. Sorry you guys have gotten snow. Here in Newfoundland, we've had 2 weeks of rain. Beautiful job on your stitching and quilting. What is the name of the finish on the shelf behind you, it looks familiar but I can't place it? Great suggestions for Christmas charts, I don't know that I can pick just one favourite but my favourite that I've stitched, so far, is Ornamental Joy by Country Cottage Needleworks.
Love your progress on your wips. Happy stitching!

Thanks for the kind words 😊! You will love the Cross Stitch in the Forest Book, so many great designs in there!
Good idea showing beginner charts. Wonderful lineup. We are getting snow tonight in Winnipeg - apparently!
