CTRL Minus not working?
Enable 'Bool Tool' in preference/add-on instead of 'Looptools'.
The commentator said it wrong.
With the Bool Tool enabled, CTRL Minus is working for the Boolean tool.

how do you denoise the render without any addons?
Either you can use the compositing denoiser, or standard denoiser with OptiX if you have nvidia rtx

@26.26 couldn't get what rotation is applied to light. Whether it's Rx 45degrees or - rz 45 degree. Thanks in advance.
I think its R+X+(-45deg) and R+Z+45deg :)

You can select multiple objects with active as last and press ctrl L to link materials

I came to a problem. When doing the things in around 7:58, for some reason, the bool tool isn't doing its job. The hole that's made by the tool is gone. Is there anyway to undo this or to fix it?
Do you mean while in the edit mode of the terrain? Thee boolean shouldnt be visible in the edit mode
@@polygonrunway Even when I switch back to Object Mode. It seems like only certain faces are affected by it, but not the entire area that the tool is supposed to cover.
Thank you very much! My final renders are very grainy. Is there something I should do with the lighting or render settings?
In 2.82 it's really easy now, just enable the OptiX denoiser in the render layers tab (if you have nvidia), or go for Intel denoiser node in the compositor

Hey man, I enabled the bool tools but 'ctrl -' doesn't work for me, any ideas why. btw great video!
You have to select the cut object first and the object you are cutting from second (as active) and then press the shortcuts

Yes, mostly I use cycles. But sometimes, I really like the result in EEVEE for some particular scenes

ctrl - doesn’t work, it’s just zoom out
AMazing tutorial, really enjoyed following along, even tho it took me 5hours and not 30min. I did get some problem with my "Ground" material. It doesnt catch any shadows and the world light doesnt effect it at all. Any idea what I can have missed? For some reasons, all my shadows are quite weak and not very strong. imgur.com/5KoNtq9
It sounds like you have flipped normals on the ground, just go to edit mode, select all and press shift+N to recalculate :)
