Graphics cards and cpus can handle about 120 degrees Celsius for quite a while due to them being designed for high heat it can last a while before it fully dies and can handle 105 degrees for a very long time about a few months from what i know
I play on my laptop 4 hours a day and the CPU is around 80-95 Celcius while gaming. Does that mean my CPU is going to stop working in a few years or something?
@@KingSteven77 its life may be slightly shortened but it should work fine for a very very long time your motherboard is more likely to die than your cpu even at that heat
My man put his health at risk on this vid (*coughs* cancer *coughs*) for content. This appeared on my recommended feed too. Keep up the good work and please for the love of god, protect yourself from hazards like that
I just noticed that! I think that was the average fps counter though, which was influenced by the 100+ fps framerate the system got during the loading screen
Why does the fps get higher and higher, start was 14, then after burning the back it’s 22, and later on it’s 44, hole fuck, at 7:39 the fps is nearly 100, this runs better than my god darn dying acer nitro 5, I can only run beamng at 17fps with constant freezing every 5 seconds for a duration of 2 seconds, and it crashes when I crash the car
You should have heated it from a bigger distance so you can really see what temperature does. This is just dumb. Also I don't understand why you can't swear on youtube but you can make lame jokes about cancer.
bro melted the backside and got sent to the backrooms
Yeah lol. Chips did the ol snap crackle pop
the gpu was fighting for his life
That's what I call " overclocking ".
Lol. More like "cooking"
overcooking

Did not expect that. Maybe Ill do a long term heat endurance test in a more controlled environment.

A box fan + respirator equipped with suitable filters would be ideal. Also like what you did there *coughs* cancer *coughs* lol.
Thank you, and will do lol.
you won't get cancer from one single breath of burnt plastic

Lol. Just wait until the follow up video on a CPU
Market seller: Very good condition. Barely used. Makes weird sounds but car game works
Great JOb! Now lets do it with 4090!
Bro is lying in the intro, he is indeed a pyromaniac and honestly fire is quite satisfying so it makes sense
The "pop!" That you heard when burning the card, was from the moisture in the brick exploding. Cool video though
Didn't know that, figured it was a chip exploding. Thanks!
lost it at 1:06. true gamer setup
Bud you didn’t notice that after it crashed it was getting 14 fps more than is was earlier in the video
He said he changed to a less intensive map
@@Someguyy it was the same map 🤣
@@paradoxhype no it wasn't you didnt play that game i guess
@@taken1832 no i play it
@@paradoxhype it's a different map though, the first one showed has the obstacles and cool stuff, the second map is literally nothing.
Big guys does it with a brand new 4090. Poor 8490 what a waste.
ShawnK did a similar thing years back. I think it was called torching a computer while it's on. It was also hilarious!
Not even ford built this tough
I can vouch for this. Source: My Ford is on its deathbed

Thank you! I appreciate it
Would make for a great Display adapter for a server, or an office machine that NEVER gets cleaned. that's for sure!
