I'ved rebuild an old PC to made a second cheap PC to play older steam games, emulation etc. It have a I5 3570 ... and it work well, pair with a little GTX750TI in a low profile case ! For all the games are not too demanding, it's perfect ! I want the 3770K but prices are crazy !

i had 3770k with 3060 12gb, it was bottleneck on most new games. i replaced with 12400f. i have now 3770k on second pc with 24gb ram and rtx 3050 8gb...it is good for lightroom photoshop premiere and topaz but because nvidia rtx +24gb ram helps...it is good for light gaming

My use case is my old GPU running in a VM with GPU-passthrough. That way one PC becomes for all intents and purposes two PCs, and friends can play on the second seat fully independently. This was great, absolutely made me get a riser, that performance hit is way, way smaller than I expected. Honestly, probably not even noticeable with the performance drop from virtualization. I really appreciate you doing the hard work that I was too lazy to do.

I have a Gt 710 it run better for games built till 2015 like NFS series,Splinter cell,Hitman 5,COD series till Ghosts,metal gear V,pes 17 fifa 16 and so on and thats all i need .Theres a lot of games to explore instead of finding requirements to play pubg,fortnite,cs:go,apex legends.The games from 2005-2017 has more thrillers than modern games of 4k high graphics i played on other high end pc

It was kinda alright back in the day. Okay for Windows XP. It beats Intel's Pentium 4 Extreme Edition from 3 years earlier. The thing is, in 2007-2008 software was already becoming much heavier, and ran a ton of background processes... and if you wanna do that AND run a game on a single core, you're not going to have a good time.

i got my gt730 2gb ddr3 but without the fan its the passive cooled version. I got it from core clock 902 to 1210MHz and for the memory it when from 900 to 1215MHz. And i increased the voltage to 1070mV. My bandwidth got boosted to 19.4 gb/s same for pixel fillrate 9.7 gpixel/s and texture fillrate to 38.7 Gtexel/s. So quite a big inprovment!

Far Cry 1440x900 Medium on intel iGPU? you crazy? 900p is higher than 720p which is what we use in current Intel iGPUs and even AMD APUs. Put that in 800x600 and everything would run fine. I know its low for today's standard but it is what ultra budget people used back then.
