- This was the second most requested game and to say the least this game is actually a BANGER! How have I never played this before, Rockstar Games were such a phenomenon back in the day when it came to open world games! As per usual let me know what you think and what you wanna see more of or next.

The Warriors is a 2005 beat 'em up video game based on the 1979 film of the same name, developed by Rockstar Toronto and published by Rockstar Games. It was released in October 2005 for the PlayStation 2 and Xbox, and February 2007 for the PlayStation Portable; the PSP port was developed by Rockstar Leeds. The game was re-released on the PlayStation 3 in May 2013 and PlayStation 4 in July 2016, via the PlayStation Network.

I always heard The Warriors was a hidden gem of a game on the ps2, and now i can see why. Its got a lot of style, substance, and sticks to the source material pretty well.
Yeah I think even the voice actors are the same it’s pretty crazy. PS2 era was so dope

Kidding aside, i remember seeing this on the polls. Heard good stuff about it through various videos amongst some bad/rough/clunky/frustrating stuff.
Up to and including a single comment on GManLives' video positively comparing it to one of my favourites for PS2 (Kya: Dark Lineage) regarding the combat specifically.
I think the comparison doesn't fully apply though, isince Kya isn't as concentrated on combat and it takes a while to unlock most stuff. It's half 3D platformer like Rayman too. Have you ever played Rayman or had a taste for 3D platformers, if i may ask?
But regardless, glad you have fun on this game.
Now, to start watchin'.
Yeah it’s got it’s clunky stuff but I think it reminds me of Bully a bit more than anything if I were to choose a game & yeah course I know Rayman!
@@brandopolo2 Gotcha. I've never looked much into Bully despite hearing good things about that too. If one can jive with a game despite some technical issues, clunk or jank, then the devs still did stuff right to keep people's attention.
I once heard that for a large part, the devs of the The Warriors game were able to get most of the original cast to do the voice again, which is quite cool
Heck yeah! If you liked Rayman, then I hope Kya will be able to supply whenever opportunity may allow for checking it out.
Unlocking moves will be slow, so the combat depth won't be immediately apparent, though the rocky brown mountainous islands have a good farming spot at the beginning.

The Warriors. Definitely one of Rockstars greatest games for the PS2. Great story that follows events before and during the movie. As well as include a backstory to how the gang was formed and how the key members of the gang joined.
Oh damn they even got the backstories? So it’s not just the movie! That’s pretty cool Rockstar were really cooking when they created this one then
@brandopolo2 Yup! The more you progress, the more you unlock. Like how Cleon and Swan (I think) formed The Warriors! I won't spoil anything for ya, but for real though, i played this game nonstop when it came out. Most fun game I ever cleared 100%

Do not play this on ps5 is so painful too complete the end don’t work properly it will give you a black screen so you can’t complete it so play it on ps4 it the better option. Good video

Own week's been good as well, am at my grandparents' place, it's currently summer vacation. Trouble finding a summer job, sadly.
Art Fight (online art event where people draw each others' characters) is nearing its end and I'm a lot more satisfied with this year than last year. Got drawings of a monstrous ragdoll, a goblin healer, a street fighter and a funny toucan boy finished, now i'm working on a monstrous bunny gimp and just now discovered some cool horror/monster artists.
