Just wanted to say thank you for all the encouragement and knowledge you have given me the last few months as I have been waiting for my first motorcycle to come in! I recently got a 2021 Honda CRF300L...it took waaaay too long to get here seeing as everything is backstocked this year...it's a great duel sport and has been a great way I have been able to reconnect with my dad these last few days since I got it. I understand that yall aren't a fan of the trident which is fine. I own one myself and absolutely love the thing. This makes me more excited to ride more bikes if i love a mediocre bike. Thanks for the videos.
I bought a Trident 660 in october brand new. It is my first own bike and i love it. I can kinda see the negative points on the Trident but idk... i like it. Maybe there is something different in the ecu or with the exhaust here in the EU (i live in germany) but i certainly hear the exhaust and it sounds brutal! (Stock exhaust. No aftermarket) The rumbling 3 cylinder sound is just awesome in my oppinion. But yeah... it feels like it has cruise control but it doesn't. But imo it is still a middleweight "beginner bike" for just 8.000$ from a "luxury" brand. So the quality is there + i got a 4 year warranty on that thing.
Same here, funny fact is if you watch first yammi's videos about the trident, he was happy with it. They put too much focus on the lag they say the bike has, and can see the good points. Much better than MT07...

@yammie I am in a difficult position to decide whether to buy the RS660 or not. Pro: it's a friendly beginner bike, it has its own class, the tech boss of 600s, the other half of its big brother, and more! Con: owners talked about issues with dealer maintenance and reliability. The bike has to be babied (high maintenance). what are your thoughts?
I Love my Trident, but yes, it comes with its quirks, glitches, ... has weird Throttle response (Lag) -- the bike hangs if you apply sudden throttle; .... the Brake Pedal is very small -- I keep searching for it; .... the subdued Exhaust-Note is Mild/Meek (unlike the screaming Street-Triple), the Engine-Sound (Grrr....) is Agricultural -- like Lawn-mower/Generator/Tractor i.e. not Smooth/Sweet/Clean/Whistling; .... Suspensions are average, not up to standards; .... Seat is narrow & hard/stiff on the Butt (should've been softer with more padding, & wider); .... Turning Radius is short (due to rake-angle & shorter wheel-base); .... Gear-Shifting isn't smooth esp. Down-Shifts (finding Neutral is easy though), Quick-Shifter works OK, not great; .... Clutch has longer travel & is unusually hard.
I owned a 2016 cbr500r for 5 years. Without the privilege of riding a bunch of other bikes I enjoyed it thoroughly, it treated me well and I sold it to a guy who crashed it in 2 weeks. Super comfy and smooth

Thoughts on a Honda CB650r or Triumph trident for a beginner rider? (Responsible adult, no speeding or wheelies on my mind as I have kids and like my life)
I have a Trident for the same reasons and love it, highly recommend it.
God it makes me so jealous that you were able to try so many bikes
Riding a conventional cruiser style bike in an unconventional way, take a bagger to a track day!! Post a video of a racer's POV/opinion about one of the laps of Laguna Seca from the first King of the Baggers event. People hit that corkscrew on a 650lb bike with saddelbags!
only 7k away from 1M noob, good job
What’s up with the Hero brand of motorcycles? I’ve only seen them as a sponsor of a large pro golf tourney. Just wondering.
Most helpful video I've watched!
🤣🤣 I own a Harley with the 107, not the sport glide but I still love it 🤣🤣
You guys rock, still a happy YN subscriber
Yammy have you heard of the leaks regarding Kawasaki making a few more supercharged models due to how well received the H2 and H2R where like a zx6r supercharged, a zx10r supercharged, a zx15r supercharged and even a supercharged crusier
you might need to change the name of the channel. you guys are noobs no longer. This year was amazing, and I loved the hipster video :D
Vulcan S boi here… thrilled it didn’t make the worst list!
Great vid guys really enjoyed it thanks.
Are they using the parallel twin to make it a rebel competitor at Suzuki? The GSX8s engine
Would like to see y’all ride the triumph speed triple 1200rs and rr
Yammie.... where is the turbo klr 650.... you cant ignore the outcry for the turbo thumper .
Both of their #1 is what I already narrowed my next bike down to.
Thanks for the Video Yammie! Any chance you'll get a CBR650R to see how it compares to an R7?
That hipster video was my favorite too.
My Cousin bought a Triumph , he loves the raw thrust of power in his seat
the intro alone got the upvote
There are FIVE letter Rs in the CBR1000RRR Fireblade. Enough Rs already!! Let’s hear it for the 2022 MotoGuzzi V100 Mandello🙏🙏🙏
I was so happy to see the Pan America on this list. That bike was so amazing
Just got my first ninja 300 at the end of summer had only 2 months to ride I'm already itching for next year :) or any of these strange ohio winters that happen to be 60 degreese
Mv agusta makes the Z650? 😂😂 shocker
can we get a klx300sm review ?!?!!?
I have ridden 2 bikes this year, my MT-03, and my friends Rebel 300.
Wow, you have no feeling for the Triumph trident while it got good reviews?? Maybe i should go for a triple?
Clutch has longer travel & is unusually hard.
not 600, but even after 1000 miles (break-in period), it didn't convert into a Street-Triple, all of a sudden, nor will it ever become that in future.
also, the mileage (fuel efficiency) is poor, haven't checked after break-in of 1600 Kms. but till now, 9-11 Km per litre only, in city.
I owned a 2016 cbr500r for 5 years. Without the privilege of riding a bunch of other bikes I enjoyed it thoroughly, it treated me well and I sold it to a guy who crashed it in 2 weeks. Super comfy and smooth
Damn
Looks like the Ninja 650 is safe 🤣 no hate and no love.
I love mine. But I've only been riding for 2 months. It's a great beginner bike but I have a feeling I'll be running this thing into the ground. I don't really need insane amounts of power. I love it's comfort. I love that you can also scrunch up on it like it's a super sport, kinda 🤣. It amazing, feels amazing, sounds decent. Love my bike so much
you did the husky 401 Svartpilen as well
