Very fortunate to get raw dairy. Here in Canada we can only get raw dairy cheese and butter! I'd love to be able to make raw dairy ice cream!..😮
It was definitely hard to find. The farms market it for animal consumption only because it’s not allowed. It’s so crazy
I think Saladino needs to shut up about raw dairy. It’s elitist and unnecessary. Pasteurized is fine. Raw is not a miracle food.
@@Dyrnwyn I totally get that he can be a bit much at times, but the fact is that raw dairy is very healthy for you-sadly, many people can’t get it in their areas. However, I also think pasteurized is fine if that’s all you can get. My cheeses are definitely not all raw, but I do the best with what I have and what makes me happy. ;)
@@Dyrnwyn I think the biggest difference between raw and pasteurized is that people with lactose intolerance tend to handle raw dairy better, so spreading the awareness helps more people be able to include dairy in their diet. It also contains a couple additional nutrients, which can't hurt. It does have a significantly different taste as well. Some people may just prefer it. But I agree, whatever makes a person happy is what they should choose! :)
Raw dairy is the best !!
I called it the Heart Attack Diet from 1984 onward thanks to Time Magazine! The frowning bacon and eggs gave me the idea! Then decades later came the Heart Attack Grill!
I stopped thinking about all the terminology and just keep it simple, I don't eat plants because they are toxic. I might have a fruit once in awhile, like literally a single strawberry or something, but 95% of the time I end up just eating carnivore because steaks taste good and fill me up. I have yet to get tired of ribeye and chuck rolls.
I love that. i think we need to start labeling and just eat what makes us healthy and feel good :)
So I’ve done carnivore a few times and didn’t work out for me. I have arterial fibrillation and for some reason eating carnivore gives me a lot more palpations or another word skipped beats. So I am meat based with some fruit. My heart is much better this way of eating. I’m guessing it has something to do with glucose for my heart function. Just thought I’d share and good luck with your UA-cam channel! 😊
I think it’s great you were able to find what works for you. An animal based diet is still so much better than a SAD diet ❤
@@kristinnicolecarrera better than most diets most likely!
You can not "do" carnivore - humans ARE carnivores.
@@stuartbranson9920 I guess by definition aren't humans omnivores? "an animal that is naturally able to eat both plants and meat" .. Humans have the capability to eat both. In the person above's case, they are doing better while eating both, so through plants they're obtaining a nutrient that they require and able to assimilate that nutrient effectively (like an omnivore would)
Curious, how can animal base include fruit? 😮
It's called an animal-based diet because most of the food comes from animal sources like meat, fish, eggs, and dairy. The "based" part means it's the foundation or main focus.
Dr. Paul Saladino, who made this approach more popular, supports including some fruit in an animal-based diet. He believes it can provide additional benefits without compromising the diet's main principles. -- you can check him out.
Ultimately it depends on the person.
@@kristinnicolecarrera thanks for responding, I’m familiar with Dr Saladino but had never heard that difference. I personally re incorporated fruit in my carnivore way of eating a few months ago but cut them out again as I found myself indulging too much but may try again later 🙂
@2012Bougie it makes sense to eat fruits since the whole reason plants make them is to attract animals to eat them
@@2012Bougie It's defintely not for everyone. I personally don't do very well on certain fruits either.
@@mark2073 hi Mark, Maybe. But one also needs to know that fruit has been genetically modified to be bigger, sweeter, etc. Also whether it’s organic or not may make a difference with respect to chemicals and toxins. Fructose may not impact blood sugar the same as other sugars but may still cause health issues.
I started keto diet yoday, and I have to sa, I think it's tough.
I miss some of the carbs, but it's OK. I will get used to that.
I'm eating 2 meals a day, meat, fish and eggs, and some vegetables/ salads and maybe I will use a little fruit. Because I've had a kidney transplantation , in January this year, I am using lots of medication, and among them, cortisone 😢
That is a metabolism killer, znd it also makes my body hang on to fluid. I wonder if keto will work for me honestly. But i will try.
I honestly think carnivore would help you more. Research Sally Norton and oxalates.
Oxalates have a huge negative affect on kidneys and other health issues

Hi.
I think I will be sticking to the keto diet. And it looks like it's working 💪
Banza chickpea pasta was found to contain excessive glyphosate
@@sugarfreesheryl9 yes I heard this 🤦🏼♀️
@@kristinnicolecarrera we are trying so hard to eat healthy and make good choices and it’s like we’re paddling up stream and never getting anywhere! So frustrating
@@sugarfreesheryl9 I totally understand, everytime I read or hear something new, there is something else bad for you. All we can do is our best :)
Great video !...you are correct about raw dairy...it's white gold !!!
I absolutely love it 🙃
Look up Dr. Ken Berry he will be a game changer
Yes I follow him ;) he's great
Are spices allowed on carnivore?
Depends on who you ask. I'd say it's fine for most folks unless you have extraordinary health problems!
Technically a strict carnivore is salt only, but many find it doesn’t harm them and they are okay with adding some spices every once in a while 😊
@@kristinnicolecarreraI know a guy here on UA-cam who does carnivore. He uses salt snd a little pepper. I don't know if he uses anything else
@@vibekes2416yeah if people don’t have issues they whole usually add some spices in 😊
I think the general idea is that you will feel generally good on a carnivore diet. Therefore you eliminate everything and eat exclusively animal products for enough time to know how your body feels as a baseline when it's not exposed to things that can affect it. Then you add literally anything you want to try back in, and see how your body reacts. Do you still feel your best (or better even) after adding said product back in? Then it's "allowed". Do you feel worse after adding whatever you added back in? Then keep it out. By doing that you find out what works best for you individually, since everyone has different sensitivities. This is why there are a range of "carnivore" diets. At the end of the day, people usually pursue carnivore because they are trying to feel their best, so experimenting is natural. Usually people who eliminate grains, beans, seeds, etc. find that they feel not as a great when they reintroduce them (these foods are more problematic in general for people for a number of reasons), however, when reintroducing fruits they don't usually feel worse.. This is why it's a natural tendency to go this direction on average, but again, everyone is different, which is why there exists a range of disciplines and some people might be OK with grains, etc. or prefer strictly animal products in the end. Always good to find what works for you personally
Humans ARE carnivores, just like Lions , tigers, cat and dogs.
How are fruit animal based, what!? 😂 and honey is just unhealthy, period.
An animal-based diet includes fruit because it focuses on getting most of your nutrients from animal products, but certain fruits are added for extra vitamins and nutrients. Even though fruits don’t come from animals, they are still allowed in and animal-based diet.
As for raw honey, some people think it’s not good because of the sugar, but there are studies showing it has benefits like antioxidants. Everyone’s different-some do well with it, and others prefer to skip it. You don’t have to include it if you don’t want to! 🤪 If you check out Dr. Paul Saladino, he has a lot of info on this.
