Valheim - Blind longplay - Chapter 1 - Episode 61

- Опубліковано 20 бер 2024
- Hot off the last episode, I make another push into the mountains. There are more secrets to discover.
Be mindful that I'd like to experience as much of this fresh as possible. No spoilers please.
Give tips when:
- I ask for them.
- I'm doing something wrong.
- I could be doing something better.
DON'T give tips when:
- They spoil the surprise or joy of discovery.
- They're about things I haven't seen, unlocked, or otherwise shouldn't know about yet.
- Finding out the hard way seems like more fun ;)

Enjoying your videos Blonde - especially the cart trip down the mountainside! Obsidian arrows would be an easy upgrade to the flint arrows you are using considering how much obsidian you have already collected. You will get nearly twice the damage from the obsidian arrows. Edited to say that you do mention the obsidian arrows later as I continued watching.
Hey, thanks for the encouragement 😁
Yes, I have started using them now. Obsidian doesn’t appear to be useful for much else at the moment so I’m more than happy to use the stock I’ve got.
I love silver veins, they look like giant silverish turds. And since giants are a thing it this world, it makes you wonder.
I find them more fun to mine than copper because they’re relatively condensed.
The sledgehammer is handy against those pesky bats as well as for knocking down high-hanging Fenris hair curtains.
Highly recommend getting the complete Fenris armour set.
It is a good option, even in the next two biomes.
Amen, I immediately regretted not bringing the mighty sledge.
Yes, those caves can be tricky to spot! There was one on your first silver mountain that you managed to avoid 😉
😵
A cultist trophy on your second kill. Unbelievable. I have PLAYTHROUGHS where I didn't see one, making it impossible to craft the hood.
Yea it took me like 9-11 caves for my first cultist trophy.
Now I feel really bad 😂😭
Your luck with trophies is still holding.
Though that's not the only rare thing in the caves,
if you'd found 'that' on your first go,
I'd be wondering what you've been sacrificing to the dark gods :P
So if you're going to be a completionist you're adventure in the mountains isn't over yet,
though with your luck it probably won't take long. XD
I missed a cave??!!! 😫
Ooh, there are other rare goodies?!! Yes please, hopefully finding it isn’t far off.
I’m going to pretend I don’t care about trophies. I have a feeling that whichever eldritch entity is allowing these drops may want to strip that luck away if it’s source of amusement becomes aware.
56:28 I hear ya about collecting materials and fear of not having enough later, but Valheim isn't really that punitive in this regard. If an item seems plentiful, it is, if that makes sense. 😁
Definitely one of those things to feel out, but I’m starting to feel more comfortable about splurging with new resources. As someone pointed out, the flint arrows have been obsolete for a while so it’s time to bite the bullet (arrow).
I think the biggest stroke of luck was finding the Moder vegvisir! Given how far away your Moder location(s) are it could have been quite a challenge finding them. Now you know where to go.
That is cool and a solid target to shoot for.
I will only say this....MAD COMMENT!!!....you complete and jammy bar steward. A fenris hood in your FIRST cave. YOUR FIRST!!! Edit: All roads lead to Gormenghast...not Rome.
I swear people will think my game is unfairly modded 😅
Is there mods for this game?
