That particular AD was my local when I lived in Bangkok. My wife and I bought a DJ and a ND Sub from there. I turned down a root beer at the time as I wanted a batman… kicking myself now as I actually prefer that watch.
I feel safer wearing a Rolex in Bangkok than any other city on the planet,I guess because people just presume it's a fake anyway?
honestly these fakes one you can spot them from far away I wore my sub date new ref in Thailand recently whenever someone was trying to sell me a Rolex I showed them the real deal they were impressed probably never seen an original one in their entire life anyway I love Thailand never felt unsafe over there
@@krakatoa_8180 the fakes that you can easily spot are those $30 fakes, the $500 super fakes are getting very difficult to tell these.

Go to the used Dealers on the 5th floor of Central World, Papaya Watch, Tong Patek, Inter Watch… they are all next to each other.
I checked it out - that footage in the next video. I was there couple of years ago, and was really surprised how sparse the stock was this time around.

Hey, you were A-Okay with your Explorer II when we hung out in Thailand back in 2019. I was fine with my Omega Seamaster 300. In fact, I don't think anyone ever gave us a second glance. They were too busy looking for loose chix.
Wow. I missed a chance meeting with the Rolex guru himself. I was at that same Rolex AD last Thursday. Also had one person inside and wouldn’t let me in until that person left. As I entered I was told nothing is for sale. Only display.
Why does the AD have a sign that says "The watches displayed are for exhibition only"? Are they fake? If I wanted to see a particular model, do they show me the "displayed" one?

I've been in that shop and it just felt a bit dodgy,maybe legit,but it's a big risk to take.
@@pkg996 True. however, seems they are known across Thailand as a place to buy preowned. They claim the will buy back the watch later in the future if you wish to upgrade. For me, it is just so difficult to see a preowned shop in the same building as Pirate dealers Lol.

At an AD in Montreal they took down my info too with no purchase history but at another AD in the same city where I had bought a DJ in the past they gave me the rundown about having to spend x amount of dollars on other watches and jewelry
IF you go to MBK iirc., they sell higher grade replicas. much closer to the genuine in terms of looks
I did register at Rolex AD in Bangkok 5 years ago. They never contact you since that.

Thank you for watching! Funny, but you are absolutely right - I'd feel much much safer wearing a Rolex in Bangkok than in many major cities in Europe and Britain. That's crazy that things have devolved to that extent in that part of the world.

That’s how Guam operates. Most people on the lists here are from Korea and Japan. They have to fly back to get the watch once it comes in…

Those fakes are actually VERY low tier and cost about $30 to $40 to produce.
Firstly, I do not understand why you are showing fakes. Those who control the replica businesses (not only watches but fake pens, fake bags etc....) are Mafia groups. It is not only a criminal act, but for me, I cannot think of wearing a fake watch. I could not see myself in a mirror any more. What a loss of pride and self-respect. Secondly, you should be presenting yourself with neat and tidy clothes and a fresh shave to luxury watch brands' shops or boutiques. Thai's High Society dealers and customers are very sensitive to that.
