The end, when she wrinkles her nose at Desi, that just sends me. Even though they divorced and married other people, they still had love for each other. That makes me smile. Rest in peace Lucy, Desi, Gary and Edie.
Great job mustardcoloredshirt OMW I love their undying love for each other. Behind the doors no one is there to judge. I just admire and love Lucy snd Desi that they shared their love with each other to us their admirers. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It's incredible the chemistry they still had on camera even though I believe at this time Lucy and Desi were divorced. I saw a documentary about Lucy and she said that she and Desi actually became better friends/co-parents and grandparents after they divorced. Even though this episode isn't from the show "I Love Lucy", I think it's from "The Lucy and Desi Comedy Hour", I still think it belongs together with "I Love Lucy" in showing how Lucy and Ricky first met and fell in love. Especially since when Lucy and Ricky first met they didn't really like each other LOL.
When they first met, Lucy was in make up and costume from Dance Girl Dance, a burlesque girl who was in a fight with facial bruises black eye etc. Later in the day when he saw her, blond hair, nice clothes with "those beautiful blue eyes" he said, "that's one hunk of woman". He was shocked to learn that she was Lucille Ball the same woman he had met earlier in the day. Later that evening they went out - and the rest, as they say, "was history"
They loved each other greatly until the day they died. They just couldn't be together as a couple. Sometimes it just works that way. Both of them ended up marrying more "compatible" people. Maybe the same fire wasn't there, but neither was the same turmoil
@@phillipsmom6252 I guess you're the one who missed the part that Desi was an alcoholic, a gambler and a womanizer and those are the reasons why they divorced.
@@jasonpalacios2705ffs, you’re everywhere in every video of them hating on Desi. They continued to love each other and they said so in interviews a bunch of times. Their daughter said too. Neither of them were perfect. Let go
🎉🎉 Ok Guys... The kiss? I've been trying to find out the same thing! I know the clip right before that was in the lost pilot. BUT I know they used some footage from the lost pilot in season 6 also.
Years too late, but if you mean when he tips her backwards it's from when they meet Charles Bouyer (not sure how his last name is spelt, but it's pretty much when they're in France)
@vnessag94 all you have to put in google is Film Classics and click on the one where it say "I Love Lucy/FilmClassics and u can watch them till your hearts content, you dont have to download anything, its all free, you just click a season and scroll down till you want to watch the one you like and there should be two film windows on the page, then u can watch the first one then the second one
@mustardcoloredshirt thank you for trying to find out wot episode that bit is from, i found a website where i can watch them in two parts and it goes all the way threw till the end. i watched that part nd it was funny, so thank you for your help.
Actually the correct information (saw this scene a few days ago) is this is from “Lucy Meets Charles Boyer” in season 6. Ricky pretends he’s jealous and acts all dramatic to put Lucy off of following him to lunch with Mr Boyer (hence the kiss😂).

Not til after the last episode in 1960
They worked so well together on television
Unfortunately television and reality are two different things
Desi
Lucy
Television will never be the same
They loved each other greatly until the day they died. They just couldn't be together as a couple. Sometimes it just works that way. Both of them ended up marrying more "compatible" people. Maybe the same fire wasn't there, but neither was the same turmoil
What a beautiful couple
Imagine how powerful their marriage would have been if only Desi was faithful to Lucy.
Their marriage was powerful, I guess you missed that part. 🙄
