    You can also make "oatgurt" with soaked oats too. Blend well, cook, and you can strain it before adding your starter but it's a messy pain. I prefer to just leave the fiber in for added health benefits and thickness, just blend well after heating. Never tried using chili stems for the starter though, I always freeze a bit of my last batch and use that, but going to have to try this, thankyou!

    Lovely! Vegan curd is sensational - on its own it bears the flavour of the plant it came from, but when we put it into our favourite dishes it doesn't taste any different! I have made Gujarati kadhi with soy yoghurt and I couldn't tell any difference! I really want to try out this peanut curd!

    Madam I became vegan since 367 days from vegetarian.iam very great ful to my mother who made me not to addict with junk food like pizza, burger and stuff... She told me not to take those because I didn't understand but now I understand. I don't take any diary items even in vegetarian just curd that's all. I love my homemade coconut yoghurt the most. It becomes almost like vanilla, even without sugar or vanilla. Sooo good! I love it even with some simple airfried spicy sweet potatoes with spicy BBQ sauce. Mellows the spice which I have a bit of a challenge with. I just add a little salt to the curd. Sooooo yum! I usually use a probiotic with a lot of different good bacteria as the starter or the last yoghurt, if I have. YUM❣️🌱🧑‍🎤🙌👍❤️

      Hey, veganism doesn't say go the extreme way. As long as it's practicable and permissible, do it. As an Indian one can't avoid using ghee in dal etc, of course if we find an alternative to that it's amazing but try not to feel too guilty about it if you can't! so many medications are also not vegan, so just don't worry too much!

      Mine has been sitting for 10 hours now and it has not even started to set. Not sure what I’m doing wrong but doesn’t feel like it will form a yogurt. How hot or cold was it when you started the fermentation process ? I used a glass container as I didn’t have the earthen pot. I left a sight gap in the lid when I put it on. Very slight. It was lukewarm when I put the chilli tops and set it aside to form yogurt. I used 12 chilli tops. I used same measurement of peanuts to water. I did boil the milk first. Any tips as to what I did mistake in ? Thanks.

      I'll try it in a day or two and share if anything I learn from success or failure. Maybe boil enough to kill any bad bacteria. Hope it would work.

    I tried using the chilly tops with coconut milk. It didn't form at all. Is this only for groundnut milk?

    How come the chilli stems were missing once the curd was set...

      Great question. She didn't explain that??

    • @foxtones6961
      @foxtones6961 4 роки тому

      She pulled them out off camera. But you can still see The Impressions they left in the curd if you pause the video. It would have been great if she had just shown herself removing the stems. I can't believe how simple it is and it looks just like real Kurt it's amazing!

    Why people are preferring vegan diets?
    What is wrong with cow milk?

      Nothing but cruelty on cows and adultering

      Coz of the way cows are treated, try watching videos of how they extract milk from cows, they are impregnated on purpose just for the production of milk (if it happens to a human, we call it rape), they don’t let their babies drink mother’s milk, they are separated, and this process is done until the cows can’t give milk anymore, then they’re just sent out for killing and be eaten as meat. Vegan is all about being empathetic not just to our human fellows but also to each and every creature on earth, it’s letting animals live the way they want to live, not being used for human satisfaction. Hope I answered your question.

      FIRDAUS FATIMA as she said the chilli tops is only required when ur setting vegan curd for the first time after that u can use vegan curd to set the next batch of curd maybe this was the second batch of vegan curd that is the reason we didn’t see the chilli tops hope u get it
