Unbelievable dedication from Mr.Pascal, can’t believe he spent 10 years of his life training Weightlifting just to get ready for this role, truly an Oscar worthy performance👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
It has been quite the fitness journey for Tom. And all it took was him breaking every bone in his body on a single failed dunk to begin his physical redemption arc.
Don't forget insider "information" from Mark Bell since Tom lost zero weight from a whole year of TRT...followed by all his weightloss after hooking up with Smellybellz.
@@IDiggPattyMayonnaiseNo, he's not. He's anti cringy body positivity. Real body positivity is healthy and fitness, not this I'm good the way I am nonsense people are saying nowadays
10:49 Its called a clean because it was one motion from below to shoulder, as opposed to making a stop around chest high to change grip (continental grip/lift) Back when people used axle bars to lift
He has talked about his dad being a competitive oly lifter before and he always seemed to admire it. Very cool that hes learning it and super cool that you two found each other to do it.
The mobility considering that HORRIFIC arm break and patella tendon tear is awesome to see. It is great to see Tom turned that insanely painful accident into motivation for getting fit. You should check out the interview Mr. Segura did with the Doc that did the surgery too.
I'm 47, I don't do Olympic lifts and only Power Clean about once a month. I watched this video and did the drills as I warmed up today. I wasn't planning on doing anything to extreme. Everything felt so light I ended up hitting a PR. THANK YOU
Keep going Zach - started watching you years ago when I started oly lifting - I’ve stopped lifting but still watch your videos because the content is always 10/10. 🤝
Zack could introduce Joe to weightlifting, they could also talk about crossfit, doping, MPMD and music, which are all topics that interest both of them... It could really be a good episode
Idk this Tom guy, but I loved him. Kinda charming how he (or his dad) has a history with Weightlifting, and now he's re-learning the moves. Really impressed at his technique. I Would love to see him again.
Cool video. I think Tom may suffer from the same thing I did. Doing lots of hang cleans first and not understanding the difference between these and a power or full clean leads to bad habits. The best pull at the end happened when he was dialed into the pull and then just let the bar go. Not having to anticipate catching the bar as it is falling to the floor allows for full focus on the actual lift. It made an immediate difference for me when I figured that out.
have you ever considered arm wrestling? The way you described some of the motions here reminded me of how we talk about certain motions in arm wrestling.
Hello Zack. I have a question. Would you recommend me to train weightlifting to have strength and power for Judo? Do you recommend me powerlifting? In any case, how would you recommend me to start? I have never been to the gym but I like the idea of training weightlifting. Thank you.
Never would have expected this collab in my life, glad to see it though
Following top dogs footsteps I love it
@@ceruleannomad3922 Gotta wait until you're a middle aged tr-timmy to care about your strength, right?

Actually one of the best instructional videos on the Clean I have ever seen. Loads of good trips in there.

The craziest part is hes weirdly fat phobic

Do brad pitt next
Pitt stop, as Tom calls him
Them 'poors' can't believe this collab.
Glad you didn't do loads of cuts/editing style, really really like this uncut style, enjoy seeing the entire process uncut. More of this please.

Smart to never use the cue “Jump” with Tom. Who knows what his body would do.
He has talked about his dad being a competitive oly lifter before and he always seemed to admire it. Very cool that hes learning it and super cool that you two found each other to do it.
Rest in peace big poppa segura

zacks been killing with the content recently man, love to see it
Who would have guessed that Tom Segura is extremely coachable
In the next episode, Zack attempts to get Bert into the gym
Hes coached Bert on how to be a human.😂😂
jfc, hit em right in the wallet. I wonder how much of a cut his ghostwriter gets? 30 mil estimated total from his last tour, Sledgehammer.
Pretty sure his dad was a serious powerlifter and tom was a footballer. Good strength genetics do a lot
@@paavola2 goodmorning Julia, keep it high and tight.
Love seeing Mr. Segura continue with his fitness journey, great content Zack!
Yoo Zack more of these please! I watched the entire thing and didn't even realize it was 30 mins!
touch my barbell through the fence
What hypes me up the most is Tom describing his dad's training regimen.

It’s always crazy to see my two different worlds colliding. I watch all Tom’s podcast and have been following Zach for coaching tips for years.
Ngl these progressions are the best on youtube, helped me so much after 1 session
U can never hate on someone trying to improve themselves🤷🏼♂️

Get back into lifting bro
Cool stuff man. Thanks for helping build the weightlifting community in the US.
Awesome Zack! This guy is pretty funny.
The Boys! New Podcast with Zach when? :( I wanna see (all three of) you guys learning some Weightlifting again too~
Tom's not a bad athlete! I like seeing him throw the weight around. Good work!
Super cool vid Zack, so interesting to see even some famous people loving weightlifting
"Wow, you're an incredible athlete..."
ZT JRE incoming

Would be a great promotion for weightlifting before the Olympics!
They're both in Texas right? That would be a great episode
Oh shit, Tom's gonna give Joe trouble this October!
OMG! Teaching comedians to lift!! Love it! Can you do Bill Burr next?!?!
Bill burr is still scared of lifting anything heavier then a tuna can
Nat didn't just change weightlifting, he changed online poker before that.
This was lovely! Great cues I can use when coaching too. Cheers!

I did NOT expect this, but it works 😂
not gonna lie being able to power clean 170 for first time at his age is really impressive
Genuinely a fascinating insight into a first 1:1 weightlifting session 👏🏼
Unexpected and great collab! Do more of these
Great Coaching Sir!
Not the collaboration we wanted, but the collaboration we needed 🙏
Love hearing Tommy talk about Top Dog
Keeping those weights high and tight 👖
I learned more in this one video than hours of lifting videos

Love this for you Zack
I love how Tom is dead ass serious about learning!!! Great job fellas!!
Hey zack just wondering whats going on with the movie you were supposed to be in ?
Is there a petition to sign somewhere to get you and Tom on JRE talking about weightlifting and training?
No thanks
Zaddy ZT really making moves out here, love to see it😢
Something I would never except to see, but something I needed to watch 😂
Keepin those lifts high and tight
Big Dog is proud
Gj, Toms such a good sport. great video with olympic lifting royalty *in a way*
HWPO tommy bunz. Great to see.
Gj ZT, i also preach the contact 1st for newbies at the crossfit box. Works wonders
Fuckin awesome. Awesome to see how far you've come ZT. Who knew top dog was a weightlifter, that's badass.
Beet would convince himself he could qualify for the Olympics with 6 months of dedication
Shoutout to my man Spyro!
For the alg. Finally the Tommy Bunz video!
Holy shit, watching Tom be quiet not cracking jokes is surreal
The collab of all time
This is a bit different than how i've been trained by more powerlifting-focused coaches, very helpful
Different in what way? Less "power", Im guessing
how do i learn something from every video of ZTs
This was great!
"bar crash? my wife used to be called bar trash!" is what I thought he`d say.
wow I am surprised to see how fast Tom is able to learn. He really does have good genetics and is very smart
Next thing we now, Zack on Joe Rogan
what in the fuck is this collab. Holy hell. awesome

Just run 5x5 and adapt based on how you feel
quite a transformation
Pretty courageous of Tom Segura to try power cleans, the last time he tried to dunk a basketball his body snapped in 4 places.
oooo neat lil crossover
Very interesting to watch
You love to see it!
Can we acknowledge his front rack position... He's done this before.
Dude, do Diddy next
Need ZT teaching the Austin comedy scene
cool collab!
The title had me confused for a good 10 seconds.
You must be pretty rich for Tom Segura to want to spend time around you
Is that mutha funkin TOM...!?!? I thought I heard someone yelling BIKES....!
teach him how to dunk on a lowered rim i heard he's really talented at that lol
This video is not for the poors 😂
Don't let Segura teach you how to dunk.
I love this so much haha
Gotta get strong to fight all the poors!
This makes me want to go lift soooooo bad!
This is great
Awesome!
Tom practicing for hoisting and moving the body of the barista that keeps getting his coffee order wrong...how many times did Tom tell him?
Lmao that's beyond unexpected. GGs Zack T
Steven Seagal next please
Great coaching Zack, nice to see Tom outside his comfort zone getting after it. I see more Oly lifting in his future.
when my elbows are up fully my hands are behind my fkn head, how can anyone even get in that position? Do I just have long forearms or something??
Crack Amico - 2 bears 1 grave 🔥
I can power clean as well. But I'm not a comedian. Oh well 😂
😂how the hell you look so different from the movies❤
This rules so hard
Shocking that Tom is kinda athletic
this is pretty neat
Teach him to respect his fanbase while you're at it
