- Takiya’s first year of kindergarten was rough, plagued by daily emotional outbursts and social struggles. But with counseling through Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin’s school-based mental health program, she got the care she needed just down the hall from her classroom. Now starting 2nd grade, Takiya is learning and thriving.
