Been following them for 7 years. I absolutely love them, although I no longer listen to that much rock, like I did back then. But they're a milestone to my musical ventures and helped me a lot growing up.

Breaking Benjamin has that “going home” type of feeling. You can always count on their music to make you feel good. They are consistently good, dependable.
I absolutely adore this song...Scooter Ward is one of the most underrated musicians. He and his band Cold have gotten me through some of the hardest times of my life. Please give Cold a listen when you can.

I was lucky enough to hear breaking ben before they were anything. Being local the local rock station would play them on the weekends. They def helped me get through those times.
Cold is SEVERELY underrated. You have to do some reactions to their stuff, spread the word.
Rain Song, Stupid Girl, Suffocate, Cure My Tragedy. Some of their best songs that I'd highly recommend.

Karyn Everitt literally I plugged in the headphones when the album came out and I was breaking down by the second chorus for literally no reason. Tears were just streaming down my face so hard it literally felt like my soul was shedding the pain it’s had and was renewed I fucking loved it.

BB does this to me with most of their songs. Lyrically emotionally raw and musically, haunting. Perfection.
You nailed it by saying it draws in people with depression and is curative because as a person with depression, Breaking Benjamin has help me through more than any therapist could. Their music relates to so many aspects of my life and I thank them with every fiber of my being

Cold's first two albums were fucking awesome, Go Away, Everyone Dies, Goodbye Cruel World, Makes Her Sick, Just Got Wicked, Sick of Man, It's All Good were all great songs that I'd highly recommend.

They did finish the trilogy. There is Red Cold River, Torn in Two, and Tourniquet. It was worth the wait the whole story told in those awesome trio of videos.

Cold is my favorite band. They're songs connect with me on an emotional level no other band has achieved. I love Breaking Benjamin as well. When this collaboration came out, I couldn't believe it!

I discovered Scooter Ward (Cold) via discount bin at Walmart in the year 2000, and quickly discovered how underrated they were back then. Truly a shame they still aren't known by more. The Album "13 ways to bleed" is where i would start.
Just do the Aurora version of Failure ft Red and I'll be good!
If you liked this you should try Dear Agony, Aurora version. It had Lacey Sturm of Flyleaf on it and it's a really good song.

You definitely need to listen to Wasted Years from Cold. Scooter is a lyric genius and Cold are a great band!

At this point, fans have been waiting for you to finish the trilogy with Tourniquet that a new wave of fans have come along who don't know we've been waiting for 7 months.
It's absolutely worth checking out some of Scooter Ward's band, Cold's videos. Cold was one of my absolute favorite bands as I went through high school. Life saving even.

However, I don't think stupid girl is a good representation of them. That's off an album after 13 ways to bleed
You should check out Scooter's band, Cold. "Suffocate", "Happens All the Time" and "With My Mind" (from the Psi-Ops video game) are three of my favorites by them.
With my mind is one of those under the radar songs that no one knows about. It's one of my absolute favorites from them!!! It's also right before everything hit the fan when Terry and Kelly left :(

I listened to this song more for Scooter; one of the most unique male voices in rock IMO. Cold and Staind are what really got me into rock and alt rock/metal. Give Staind a try too; Aaron will give you chills. He can honestly sing anything

Such as Bury Tomorrow, A Day To Remember, The Amity Affliction, Pantera, shit like that, there’s still plenty of amazing songs by those bands and I’m dying for you to hear them. You won’t be disappointed. I recommend Chasing Ghosts or Don’t Lean On Me by The Amity Affliction, Revolution is my name by Pantera, the whole Deep Blue album by parkway drive, and any song by Bury Tomorrow, mostly Black Flame, Redeemer, Glasswalk, or The Burden, and by ADTR any song as well, they’re both amazing bands that are waiting to be heard and I’m dying to hear your reaction because I KNOW you’ll love them

Probably one of the very few songs that has ever made me cry. This song, for me, really encapsulates the loneliness that I feel frequently, and the yearning that my heart feels for the things it truly wants.
So glad you reacted to this finally! I've noticed that out of all artists/bands, Breaking Benjamin's latest albums STILL captures that 2000s nostalgia. I dunno how they do it but they are 2000s to the damn core and I love it. And if you do react to the band Cold you should definitely react to Gone Away.

You hit it right on the point. I have Extreme Anxiety and Depression due to war and violence from the military, and Breaking Benjamin has helped me realize that I’m not alone in this journey. I’ve seen them live several times and must say Benjamin is a talented singer.
