In Magic, Rebound is a mechanic that gives you a free copy of a spell on your next upkeep. Getting two cards for one is a pretty good deal, so the mechanic has performed pretty well! In this video, I take a look a the 10 Rebound cards that have left the biggest impact on competitive Magic: the Gathering.

At least 6 converted mana cost. Definitely triple black in there with an additional cost like pay half of your life total.

The Warriors should have played more cards with rebound if they wanted to win tonight.
And the beginning of the next upkeep they could cast them by paying the same amount of mana as points that Klay scored!

Easiest “guess what card is number 1” of my life.
I'ma be real, I've literally never heard of Rebound until today. It's just one of those mechanics that has completely been purged from my memory and I would have probably said was some one off from Future Site if you'd asked me. But I can rebound from this lack of knowledge and use it to call for "Top 10 Vintage Cards (Minus Power 9)"!
I first encountered rebound in planeschase and didn't know it was actually printed on cards until much later.
Extremely boring but good mechanics tend to be forgettable

Ah crazy, who would have thought the common playable in literally every format is number one, willllllllllllllllld.
Faithless salvaging isn’t just a strictly worse faithless looting though, since if you’re empty handed, you still get the draw, meaning it can be card advantage, unlike looting.
Discard and then draw also goes way better with Dredge.

Biggest? You can do a scryfall search for that pretty easily. There's not much to say on the topic.

Rebound is not deciduous. (1) WHO was a commander set, which are free to use any mechanics from all of Magic's history (as are most supplemental products anyway). (2) Thus, Deciduous (and Evergreen) are terms which apply to Standard set mechanics ONLY. And that is for effects they expect and want to appear every few sets, Kicker, Cycling, Flashback, etc - just not forced into every set without fail, like the Evergreen stuff is. (3) Do not confuse the latest design allowance of occassionally allowing a random keyword from Magic's past to appear on a single Standard rare either; Maro has gone on the record to say these are more guest spots for old mechanics and aren't considered deciduous mechanics they will repeat enough to become a regular part of Standard. So the Ojer doesn't mark it as deciduous either.
TIL Narset was a person and not just a color combo
The color combo (white/blue) is Azorius, named after the Ravnica guild of those colors (as most color pairs are). Though Narset is probably more known for Jeskai, which is blue/red/white, named after her clan on Tarkir.

I suggest not playing with these cards if you're looking to start a relationship as women generally do not like men looking to rebound.
