Of note with Emrakul the Madness cost is 6 colorless. Not 6 of anything. It's a bit more narrow.
Correct! That's why I only highlighted 2 colourless artifacts as you'll need to 6 colourless, so it makes sense to be in a colourless deck.
For future reference it's har-binge-er not har-bringer. Or just keep calling it flood moon if that trips you up.

Can't believe Vexing Bauble wasn't here! Super powerful in Legacy and EDH. Really, really annoying to play against. The new MDFCs will see play in Legacy Oops! and maybe make Modern Oops! more of an actual thing as well.
I already gave it it's own short 😅 Wanted to cover as many new cards as I could. But yes 100% super powerful card!

animar soul of elements can reduce the cost of madness? Is there some rule that prevents the animar effect from interacting with madness? or rather, with the mana that specifically must be colorless?
The mana in this case *must* be 6 colourless mana. If it was 6 Generic mana, the cost would be reduced equal to the number of counters on Animar.
Dreamtide Whale is a wet dream for Mizzix of the Igmanus.
Oh man i was thinkin about wildfire orchid cavalier blink deck with the indestructible lands!
@JimDavisMTG used to play a Boros Land Destruction deck that utilized boom//bust to blow up one of your opponents lands but doesnt effect yours. Loved the deck.

Specifically in Modern, Ugin's Labyrinth is powerful but very narrow and overrated imo. Besides Eldrazi Tron or possibly Tron, this card doesn't have a home. The fact that it's only good if you can exile a +7 cost creature is a HUGE limiting factor. Tapping for 2 mana is undeniably powerful, but unlike Ancient Tomb or City of Traitors, your deck has to be built around using it.

Assuming we can exclude the cards I've already done shorts on:
1. Amped Raptor
2. Galvanic Discharge
3. Thief of Existence
4. The Medallions
5. Kappa Cannoneer
Arena of glory definitely seems like a storm card.
How so? Storm doesn't really benefit from creatures getting haste.

MH3 seems quite underpowered compared to it predecessors. It is understandable that they don´t want to create anotehr MH2 that completely changed the magic landscape but it does feel like they took it a bit too far. How many cards will end up format defining or even playble from this set?
Flares and a good chunk of lands will 100% be making an impact to the meta
@@attackoncardboard I agree that there are some interesting lands but the flares I don't think are very good. The difference between being able to discard a card from your hand they you did not spend any mana on or sacrifice a permanent is huge. With the flares you still 1 for 2 yourself and you didn't even get a mana advantage

Tamiyo is likely trash, but Ajani has a lot of potential. x/1s are just unplayable to bowmasters.
Why is Tamiyo trash? Ajani requires you to have things already in play to be effective.
@@attackoncardboard like I said she is just too fragile, it has to have ragavan level power to be worth it. In regards to ajani, having a lot of small creatures in play is whites game plan, his 2nd Planeswalker ability is legit

@@ari_coolI had complete autonomy to make a video about my choosing about MH3. If I didn't like the set, or what they were doing with the set, I wouldn't have taken the sponsorship. I liked you video dude, I’m sadly a pesky cedh player and I’ve decided that this set is going to be my first draft experience. I’ve been looking for videos that dive into how these cards are going to affect other formats since I enjoy playing legacy once and a while and I really liked how you structured the video and explained the cards.
