- In this episode of This is Africa Outdoors we go on a pond hopping mission in Grahamstown, which is a small town in the eastern cape of South Africa. We catch both blue gill and bass in the many small ponds and dams around town.

Went bass fishing in some of those spots today caught one 1kg and 2 - 1.5 kg fish in the dam at the end of your video the one with the concrete block

If I ever make it over to mainland Africa I'd be pretty upset if I caught bass and bluegill lol

Have you tried settlers dam in Thomas Bains... caught a 2.6kg bass there a couple of yeara ago
I have only fished there once in winter and we managed to catch a couple, but I’m going to try there early next year.

As you come into Gramstown before the sign that says welcome to gramstown there is a dirt road you go down there
