Love fishing Mteri! You should have used Yum Dingers Senko's; Horney Toads or jigs by pitching towards those stumps in the water. Did you try Palm Bay; Boma Bay; Twin Rivers? Opposite the lodge about 800m from shore there is a big pile of rocks underneath the water just as you leave the harbour. I caught some big 4kg plus bass in the past in that same area by using jigs or spinnerbaits. Some of the crocks are huge I'm glad to see they are trying to get all the netting under control. Best of luck next time and thanks for all your videos.
We did try a couple of those spots but not the underwater rock pile, we are not the most experienced bass fisherman so it will take a few more trips to get properly dialed in. thanks so much for the tips though, I will stock up on those lures for next time. Glad you enjoy the videos.
Loved fishing Mteri, brings back very good memories.! If you read this message then you must try Spro hollow body frog over lay downs.!! Hold you tight.!!!
No matter how many passengers, no matter how small the boat you gus always look so comfortable, Always cheerful and never a quarrel (or are you just good at editing) Greetings from the south coast
Thanks Winston! Luckily there usually isn't too much fighting, just teasing sometimes haha its all good fun, for me I love fishing with many people on the boat, makes it more interesting.
@@ThisisAfricaOutdoorsif you can't make it during the spawning season you must try it during October as those big females suspend on those big rock piles outside the harbour as I have said before
Lol, we were there as well for a league tournament that weekend 😂 Have too say plenty of small fish that trip, nothing bigger than 5lbs, like you guys.
Great vid guys...brings back memories at Mteri. Although the last time I was there ... there was to much netting going on
Thanks, yes a think the netting is a bit better now.
