I will be discussing bags, flashlights, knives, multitools, pen, wallets, key organizers, pry tools, functional clothing, watches, electronics, and much more. Because I also love to modify these items, there will be videos on tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, scissor, wrenches, and power tools.
I try to read every comment so pls feel free to ask any questions below! Thanks for stopping in!

Great video. That Lever Gear pry bar is a revelation. Paired with a Steinwhale Stubby extender and bit kit, the LG pry bar does everything a Milwaukee Fastback 6 in 1 does and a lot more. The pry bar weighs 1 oz and the Steinwhale extender and bit kit weigh 1.75 oz. They could easily replace a 91mm SAK, especially if you have a SwissCard in the wallet giving you scissors, nail file, toothpick, tweezers, pen and pin or maybe a 58mm Manager on the keychain.
I’ve been using the Roxon M4 for a couple of weeks now. What I really like about it as an accessory to a more tactical flipper, is that I can put this into any pocket without worry. Since there is no protrusions like a clip or studs, and it’s wrapped in leather, I can have it in the same pocket as my phone without fear of scratching the screen. A tip on the scissors is when you deploy them, press the non-spring blade of scissor so that it is goes to max travel: the spring side will properly pop out when the straight portion snaps into the stop detent.
I picked up the Nicron N7 based on your review and just received it in the mail. Damn, just with the AA battery, it is really good! Very light but solid feel. Thank you sir!
Acebeam TAC AA with the 519A LED is exactly what I'm looking for. Nearly the same size with crowned bezels as my beloved ProTac 1L-1AA but with a better CRI and better low modes. I always want something large enough to strike with but skinnier than an 18650 flashlight for my pocket. I have a lot of people with out of control dogs in my neighborhood and the strike bezel would at least be a deterrent before going to the pocket knife if I ever get attacked. I agree they should not put TAC. would be good to make another name in the direction of EDC self defense. As long as the crowned bezel protrudes and can be a force multiplier then should be great for being a strong deterrent.
A big use for a UV light is with AC diag, most autoac systems have a reactive dye in the oil that will light up when hit with uv light to make leak detection easier.
I shook my head when I saw you had RovyVon in your list.
I bought 4 A28s and all of them had the same issue. A button that gets stuck!
Bought the A8 and had exact same issue. I’m actually thinking to make a video as a buyer be aware!
I find it weird that anywhere I look Rovyvon are considered semi premium because I thought that and bought 4 different models. All but one are gone! The only one that's left is my E8, but even that is having issues like the usb port does not hold when charging and the AAA battery, does not work when needed. My A 28 was my fav but one day I dropped it like 500 cm, and the head broke off the body. They sure feel better than many but all mine are dead after 2 years, and not that much usage! I'm needing a reverse influencer or reviewer that would perhaps buy the reviewed things for the Patreon money and gets to be honest all the way instead ( not saying this channel is dishonest just that many of Us try out stuff from companies that give them stuff) so I'm with you in spirit.
Thanks I am definitely getting the acebeam
Thanks for the reviews. I dig that Roxon! I would love to see a version without a blade - would be a great tool set for travel or for folks who visit govt buildings, etc. This form factor seems like something they can build on. I hope they do.
You should do a full review of the Rovyvon A26, even compared to the A28. There's nothing if you search! I'm a fan of the A28, bought a 2nd one with nichia and would really like to see the throw of the A26 in high CRI.
I can't see why it would make sense in a High CRI. It feels like it makes way more sense to have A26 in Cool white for max distance. and the A28 in high CRI.
Tell me about that light
@@maxlvledc exactly. But Rovyvon did it. There is a A26 with 5700k high CRI (519A)
@@VA5C0 could be good. But I'm too swamped to add more atm to my list
They look cool
The Acebeam M1 is really interesting from another prospective in that the LEP focuses. If it wasn’t quite so large I’d probably pick one up. It actually might have some application for search and rescue.
Excellent reviews as always
Skillhunt lights are cool. Usually use 519a which is really nice.
I have thr mt2a pro. It is ridiculously bright for a pen style flashlight it has been on my side each day i even purchased a spare battery for it. Usb type c rechargeable. They now sell them on amazon. So one is always charged up as a spare so i can use it all night long at work.
Acebeam M1 looks like a killer light, a very usuable UI with shortcuts to moon and turbo and has 519a emitter option, zoomable lep... but $300... damn.
Wish Olight would do their take on the Roxyvon A26, so I can use it with my charging station for all my family’s torches. I have the A8 on my keychain, the side lamp is incredibly useful.
Have you seen the Wuben X3 flashlight, it also has a swiveling head and the flat rectangular format seems compelling - a bit pricey though
The Roxon M3 13 in 1 is in my opinion a far superior mini multi tool if you use scissors regularly. They are a beast and cant pop out and you seem to get more with the M3, and it’s cheaper! The best mini multi tool I have used and that I own which is keychain size!
Just a lenscap on the lep would be easy like a military laser
The levergear edge XT also looks like the design has a wrench fitting incorporated in the bottle opener ?
You should check out speras flashlights! You'd definitely enjoy them, been watching your videos for awhile and i dont think ive ever seen you review one, the speras e21 is great! Keep up the great work man!
Please review wurkkos wk05. Maybe compare to nitecore mt2a pro or rovyvon h3. Thanks for the video!
I like the Rovyvons, and carry and angel eyes E8, but they could make the UI much better. Unless you carry and use it daily, you may not even remember how to unlock the damn things, let alone cycle through all the functions.
I have a lever gear xt and it's with me 24/7
I found a cool looking light on Aliexpress, and im interested in your opinion about it. Maybe in a next video? Summary: a mid pocket clip, and its dumb UI. Thats the only drawback. High to low than strobe. Selection when you turn it on. BUT! Its AA/14500, IPX8, USBC charging, with a waterproof port+dust cover collar, magnetic tail with mechanical lockout, and included 3 diffuser (white/orange/red) its around 30 bucks, i think? Has a lot of names, idk who the original is. Newbirth S21, for example. Can send you a link, if you are interested. Without that dumb UI, i think its a pretty neat light, would like to see a quality brand version, with better UI.
I have reviewed it on my channel; my version is Tunenge S21. In my opinion, the best AA/14500 available on the market , it's relatively cheap but good quality.
@@flashlightnoob i'll be there in a sec with a view and like, my dude!
@@Blez1224 Thank you, sorry if it's not in English, you can ask me if you want to know more 🙏
@@flashlightnoob i understood the most important parts. I have a tool aa, so the comparsion was especially useful. Just one thing: i was skipping through it, as i dont understand most of the things you say, did you talk about the switch and the lockout? I cant seem to find that part. Could you give me a time?
@@Blez1224 Ah, glad to help! Sorry for the skipped part, my phone was broken and suddenly stop working so the part about switch and locking mechanism is not there. The switch is foward click, half press to temporarily on and changing the output (similar to Acebeam TAC AA - not the best UI out there). The locking mechanism is a mechanical pin on the tail, if you turn the switch to the lock position, you can't press the tail switch; I think it's a simple but clever solution.
I have the Nicron light for years - awesome little helper. Mine has a strobe and SOS function
Agreed, I'm not happy with my Tac AA; it's way too expensive, and they don't understand the fundamentals of tactical flashlight readiness in distress situations. I understand some people will always prefer memory mode, but for a mini tactical flashlight?! I wish there was more like Nextorch TA15 out there.
I like for you to do a review on the Coast flashlights that are under $30 dollars.
You can put the olight bezel down I think, can't you? If you use the portion of the clip that would clip into your hat? Since the clip is reversable!
Doesn't the Terminator M2 version have a selector switch youre talking about?
Can the MT2A Pro take 2x14500 instead of 2xAA batteries as a backup?
16:20 As 'tactical' flashlight I would prefer 100 percent to switch on at minimum exposed. Probably you confused with something else like 'rescue' or something.
umm...how does that make any sense at all?
@@maxlvledc because as 'tactical' is better to be as more invisible you can. If I need high mode I can choose that, but if I want to switch on the flashlight the time I need not to been seeing I don't want high mode. If we talking about enemy, a bullet will do the job, not any strobe or high mode. That means 'tactical'.
Thanks for the reviews anyway. You help me a lot to choose my next flashlight.
Hey everyone. What happaned to Wed live videos? Has something changed? Sorry, I was away for a bit.
np! I was traveling a lot so after Maxgiving the next one is 13th of DEC
Great content. You're entitled to your opinion, but in the case of the Acebeam Terminator M1 I think you are being a little fearmongeringly over cautious. ANY powerful flashlight is a tool. The simple button switching is an appreciated feature. Many flashlight tools have many modes, mode memory, can be quite powerful, and might as you say also be "used for reading". As such a tool, one has to know if the light has mode memory and will come on where left off, and plan accordingly. And with any powerful tool, including that little Tac AA, you wouldn't very first thing shine it on something white or reflective very close to you. One wouldn't (shouldn't) do this any more than you would test whether a reciprocating saw was plugged in/charged by putting your finger on the blade and pushing the button. My Lumintop Thor Pro and other LEPs have a significantly more powerful LEPs, with mode memory, and I use them accordingly. That said, you know your audience better, and if folks need reminding not to stick a paper clip in the electrical outlet, very well.
I'm genuinely wondering what practical application an LEP has. What do you do with it? What can you even see with it?
Honestly..I'm stumped outside of tactical scenarios
If the Roxon can opener is that soft then the philips head & blade are rubbish too.
I wish you'd mentioned pricing...
I had a Nicron for a few months and it stopped working. I bought it off amazon but never could get a hold of them for warranty. I wouldn't suggest it.
good to know.
My rovyvon didn't even last a year :(. The body has cracks on it and the lens and housing fell off and got lost!
That's sucks, did they replace it in warranty?
@maxlvledc My children's Grandpa bought it through Amazon (i paid him back). While reading Rovyvon's warranty policy I noted they require proof of purchase. I don't think getting that info will be easy.
Cowabunga.!
You really need to use the nail clipper
Not me EDC'ing an LEP...
I was hoping you would have had an arkfield flex in this weeks vid. I imagine next time though
tomorrow! at 8pm est. I've been playing with it all week.
Skillhunt > Olight. I mean olight has some interesting models but proprietary batteries... proprietary charging connector... glued like fort knox. nah...
All that yackin and didn't mention ballpark prices except the 1st one.
google is free.
He's got the links to Amazon in the description
Do you own a Facebook group?
nope
@@maxlvledc would be cool if you made one
Bro you need to chill about the lep, it's not gonna kill you.
First!
Lost me a soon as you mentioned the word tactical! 😢😢
