2/27/2024 update: wow, I now hear micro details of low volume sounds that I didn’t know were there.
I use 2 iFi Supanova power cords for: Denafrips Pontus dac and Parasound 2100 preamp.
iFi blocks noise from both directions, so a noisy component is contained and can’t spread its noise to the other components.
1/31/2024 update: the iFi really improves older recordings (more slam and impact, extended range and smooth) such as Elvis Presley and the James Bond songs.

Noise is not just from an external over the air source (which can be protected by shielding and braiding), it’s also created by other components, and may already exist in your house; shielding and braiding without noise cancelling can’t fix the noise because it's already inside the cable, and passive filtering may reduce dynamics.

I also tried the:
- $350 Audioquest NRG-z3 but I didn’t hear any improvement nor degradation over the stock cable.
- $250 Pangea Audio AC 14 XL MKII, but I didn’t like how it sounded because it created noise (made the background less black so I heard less details/contrast)
- $100 Pangea AC-14 in 2m, but I didn’t like how it sounded because it created noise (made the background less black so I heard less details/contrast)
- $45 Waudio 10, but I didn’t like how it sounded because it created noise (made the background less black so I heard less details/contrast) and was too bright/harsh.
- $250 Pangea Audio AC 9 MKII in 2m, but it was way too thick like a garden hose and too stiff and too heavy. The soundstage got bigger but the blackness got noisier.
