TDR Prism is a modern frequency analyser with a focus on human audio perception. Easy to use and configurable, this audio plugin gives precise insight into the spectral properties of a signal. Among its flexible audio sourcing, decoding and visual configuration possibilities, Prism features a wide range of spectral weighting/tilting methods, peak/RMS smoothing options, including human auditory filters and real-time indication of auditory masking.
TDR Infrasonic offers precise control over the near-inaudible lowest frequency regions of a mix. It consists of a continuously variable slope filter, min and mixed phase modes, and mix control. It also includes a dynamic bump and a set of harmonic exciters meant to compensate for the perceived energy loss introduced by the filtering.
TDR Elliptical is a modern elliptical equalizer. An ideal choice whenever low frequency stereo positional information requires control. A continuously variable slope filter with min and linear phase modes, and mix option offer all necessary technical control. Advanced perceptual filtering and mono-summing compensation tricks help preserve the musical impact from input to output.
TDR Ultrasonic helps control the effects of ultrasonic build-up in wide bandwidth processing chains, i.e. whenever chains of nonlinear processors run at sample rates beyond 44.1/48kHz. A linear phase filter with a continuously variable slope, a mix control, and dynamic Ultrasonic Gate options allow to transparently block inaudible content and thereby achieve a lower total distortion in the audible spectrum, at the end of the chain.
TDR Arbiter is a remarkably flexible frequency-selective spectral balancer. What makes it special is the relative nature of the process: The effect is independent of the input signal level, making it an optimal choice for de-essing, plosive control, or overall manipulation of the frequency balance, all without affecting the original signal dynamics structure.

TDR is a shining example of how a plug-in company should operate. A great offering of free tools, with innovative speed and detail oriented paid tools for creators and professionals.
All offered at a fair price...with a no hassle licensing system.
    All business, no hype.

WOW... Every plugin manufacturer should get Dan to do one of these. What an incredibly informative walk-through. These are novel, complex processors, and I would have remained clueless about more than half their capabilities without Dan's take. I guess I'm gonna have to spend some more money now...
EDIT: I must say that I have used, occasionally, TDR plugins over the years, especially Vlad's old Limiter No. 6, but this FREE Prism analyzer hooked me. It does all of the things I've been wishing all my other analyzers would do, but didn't. So I went ahead and purchased both the TDR + OD Production Bundle and the Filters bundle; yeah, pretty much everything! These NEW plugins show that TDR is active and excelling at pushing boundaries, not simply playing the game.

I'll be honest, my brain hurts after all of that. I'm not a professional mixer or mastering engineer - just someone who tries to make music at home and who tries to mix and master it as best he can, using basic tools such as EQ and compression. I thought I'd seen all the "problems" mixes can suffer from - now there's a whole new list of things to not conquer very well!!! 😵‍💫 Anyway, hats off to TDR and Mr Worrall.

EQ and compression are the best places to start! You're on the right track. This stuff all becomes simpler as you go. This stuff is definitely complex, but we're talking about a tenth of a percent here in terms of quality.
I definitely recommend snagging Prism because it's going to be useful as a tool for you to see what you're doing, particularly when you're mastering, but I'm a music production instructor/mastering engineer and I'm not champing at the bit to get the other ones. They're cool but absolutely not essential for 99.9% of applications.@@tonyrapa-tonyrapa

We were green lighted to start getting Shawn's rarities and releases he was getting ready to put out at the time of his passing out there. This is exciting news but as the engineer I wanted to share this information with you first. TDR Nova and TDR Kotelnikov are the only things we intend to use so it has as much quality as possible and doesn't interfere with Shawn's mixes. We think TDR and Ozone are the platinum standards these days and very eager to get this new content out. Thank you for such excellent plug ins. #TeamShawnLaneMemphis

The best advise Dan always gives is use your ears, I am still downloading these tools, just to pull them up in front of clients so I look smart plus they will look totally badass on dual monitors, that's what is really important. "Elliptic" filters should not be called "elliptic" at all, so the confusion about "elliptical" - the correct English adjectival form of the root noun ("elliptic" would be a noun, if there were such a noun among the standard words in this context) - can be helped. We just rename the silly name of the "elliptic filter" to avoid gratuitous butchering of this ground-meat language most of us speak without knowing how it works.

    Around 20:25
it's unbelievable how a simple 100hz side filtering improve the sound. It's like it glues all together while making everything brighter and crispier. It makes the drums sound so different, more present and coherent.
Anyway, I've got a question about pre ringing in general, when using linear phase. Let's say I export a mix, on the master bus I have an eq in maximum Linear phase with a HP filtering with a 18db slope and some bells here and there. Will I hear the artifact caused by pre ringing before the first transient of the entire waveform or before every transient of the song, accordingly with the amplitude of each transient? So, for example, before a kick hit the artifact will be more noticeable than before a less loud transient?

And then another shoot with her later that day at one of St Lucia's World-class Cacao Spa Retreats before heading to a dinner shoot at one of their World-class Restaurants. Tokyo Dawn intelligence really is real though and not hype. Was just having a little fun. I actually was going to type a little more about St Lucia and their world-class Cacao production paired with idea of Irina but have decided against it.

Only thing prism is missing is as phase correlation meter. Maybe in a later update they will include one as currently you have to use a separate plugin for it whereas span has one built in so less faff.
