Self Cast is important to when u can self cast one ability like karma (E), Kayle (R), Lee Sin (W) instead of moving your courser to your champion and lose some time, u just self cast it and there u win time for reacting to the opponent
@Rayhuul In the options of abilities u Scroll down a bit and u have a option Self Cast than for exemple u play lissandra in the Abilitie 4 ( Lissandra R ) u put like Shift + R and when u use it She will instantly Self Cast it (Sorry for my English isn't the best)
It's kind of sad that Attack Move button doesn't get included in it. If you press it next to a champion between a bunch of minions, chances are you're going to attack minions instead of the champion, even if you have Target champions only option enabled.
@@Bracket_Man The problem I stated does not make the option useless. It's in fact very helpful when somebody is hiding behind entities, just not as convenient as one might have wanted it to be.
This is not Rivens double cast. In the clip Riven cancels the W animation with E and Q comes after, the actual double cast is E into WQ, so Q and W overlap within one animation.
I am a Gold ADC and I constantly see enemy AD's screw up their positioning because they don't have "attack click on Cursor" This is the single most important setting for AD players.
@@adrianw519 when you issue an attack-command on the ground without this feature on, your champion will auto-attack the enemy unit closest to your champion. When you issue an attack-command on the ground with this feature on, your champion will attack the enemy unit closest to your cursor. The difference for an ADC is night and day- especially when kiting.
@@adrianw519 do make sure to set the atk move to closest to curser. It’s normally set to closest to you. This will screw you over when you want to last hit minions that aren’t closest to you or if you want to get free trades on others when they’re in the minion wave. Oh it’s in the same page as the treat atk champ as toggle 8:40. There is a option for the atk move and how it treats the click (closest to you or curser)
The Riven one is shown incorrectly; you are supposed to E and then wait a short duration before doing W+Q. You can also auto after the E and it is the same timing. If done correctly the W and Q should come out at the same exact time, not one after the other.
I saw explanations about «ability+flash» dozens of times and not a single one of them included actual explanation of that mechanic. The thing is: a lot (and I mean A LOT) of abilities in LoL that don't have mentioned channel time in their description actually have .25 sec channel. It's so small that you most of the time don't even notice standard channel bar on screen, but it is actually there. Of course, some abilities (mostly defensive ones) are instantaneous, but you will be surprised if you check the number of that .25 channels. And that's exactly what makes «ability+flash» possible even on non-point'n'click abilities. So now you can at least know what to check. Of course it can be obvious for some people, but I needed to come to it by myself.

what about the "Replace Quick Cast with Quick Cast with indicatori in the quickbind UI" option? if you just press it fast its almost as fast a squickcast, but if you hold the hability is normal cast.
At min 7:00 you can see the importance of quick casting, because of normal casting the right brand didnt even use his q on the combo, so you may cancel your abilities like so
Personally, I leave the "target champions only" as held down. I play Warwick alot, and his healing off autos is bonkers early game, and you can bait people out by autoing minions while they try to finish off your deceptive little bit of hp. And it would suck to accidently smite a champion when you're fighting over drag But I'm a jungler, and really bad with toggle abilities, so chose what you want
Use one you feel is the most comfortable for you.. mine is binded on shift+right click and i just have built the habbit to turn it on/offf whenever necessary.

@@batatadoce3025 yes, you can but there is no animation cancelling and its not instant, the point of the video was about enemies cant react to your input and in case you only R + F without W they actually have micro timing to flash away
@@MegaAlexWar Lee R roots during the cast time, and it's pretty hard to react in the 0,25s cast time that also roots you, as you don't need to get behind them to start kicking

I personnaly use some button on my mouse. Otherwise, i guess some keybind you can reach with your thumb will do the trick (x c v b) if you don't already use them for items.
If you’re using the toggle feature, it really doesn’t matter if it’s an awkward key. I use the key left of “1” (it’s “^” on German keyboards) and I take my entire hand off of it’s usual position to press it, but it doesn’t bother me because I know whether I want to dive or not a bit before I even get into tower range.
Holding "attack champions only" is not annoying at all, I have had it on V for many years and it's second nature really just resting the thumb on it when needed.
I actually prefer Quick cast with indicator. There are only a few champions where it doesnt allow me to normal cast (Karthus Q for example) but most of them are quick cast as usual, but if you hold own the key, you can aim
I had the same idea a few years back, but when you tend to spam right click to move, like you should, it often got me to just cancel my spells. If you move before releasing the key, the spell doesn't go off. Fucked me a couple times, so I reverted to quick casting.
This is pretty adc specific but i think the „Target champions only“ setting does not work with the „a-click“ setting. You will still aa minions of they are closer to the cursor.
Does anyone know if you can make attack move click work with target champs only. Is there a setting missing there because attack move click still hits everything
sadly, that would be soo good and op and adc woulg just take over. but no its intended to only work with Right click and point and click only abilities.
for the target champions only key bind mine stopped working after my key binds got reset, It will work for fighting in between minions or other objectives like dragon/baron but wont when an enemy champion is standing behind a tower(when its most useful to be honest). Ive tested it various times and have gone back and check all settings but i cant attempt tower dives anymore . If anyone has had a similar problem or a solution please do share. ( Yes i have tried reparing the client)
this sounds like a personal/keyboard or settings problem, if i have champions only and i attempt to dive, noone of my point and click habilities or RIGHT CLICK autoattacks will hit the tower, ever.
ok so the quick cast and normal cast, they both show the indicators of where your ability is going to go all you have to do is old say jhin W, and you can see the range same with his E, and R, Twisted fate Q and veigar cage, both can be seen if you just hold the Q or veigar cage E, and once you let go of the key itll do the animation, same thing applies to all things in the game with quick cast, hold the button to see the range, put it where you want it, let go to do the ability IMO normal cast is useless
By default quick cast does the spell as soon as you press the button, not when you release. What you are describing is smart cast, with is an option in the menu to turn quick cast into casting only when you release the button. But it is not on by default, and it is slower than standard quick cast
I already am doing all of these, except the last toggle, because it takes more time to press a button and let go, then to hold it down, in case I want to auto a minion in between for some reason, after all. League is a game of milliseconds.
8:23 Can I ask you guys how to make it actually work though? So I use the "A" Key to auto attack. And it doesn't let me Target Champions Only with the A key for autoing. So when I use my "~" key as a toggle for Target Champions Only, and I click the key A (which commands my champ to auto), I'll actually auto the nearest target - minion, turret, champion, anything except a JUNGLE camp. I won't auto those. Very weird. BUT If I click my "~" key, to toggle Target Champions Only, and then use *right click* instead of A, the Target Champions Only interaction will ACTUALLY work. But I've given up Right Clicking for every single auto attack AND movement command long ago, and replaced Auto with A, keeping right click to move, only. Why in fucking gods name does this happen, please someone help me make it so I can use A to auto during Target Champions Only.
Well dummies, find what's more comfortable for you, or switch the way you hold your fingers down on q w e r depending on the champ. If you play riven use the ring finger for q w, if you play tryndamere use your index for e r.
You cannot use target enemy champions with attack move, sorry. Target champions only removes the targetable hitbox when you mouse over non-champions, so that you can only click or cast targetted abilities on enemy champs.
I don't think there is an actual solution to this, but there is a workaround : there is another setting about attack-move that is very important, it's called "Attack move on cursor". With this activated, if you A+click or shift-click on terrain, you will attack the target closest to your cursor, not closest to your champion. With Target Champions Only toggled, if your enemy hides behind a turret, you simply need to click behind the turret as well, and your attack will automatically hit the enemy, and not the turret. Hope this helps.
The only reason I got to the silver is cuz my mechanics my mechanics are better than plats but I don't play ranked I play ranked only to silver and than I stop
wtf im pretty sure most golds got that good mechanics that they dont click like 10 m awaqy from their champion like annie in the example. even me as a silver doesnt do that THIS badly

I actually managed to pull off the Leblanc example with Cho'Gath ult and it was hilarious.
