Finally, Another Review on the PXN V99, Ive been waiting for this for decades!

@@DiveToneTusk dual motors is what makes it junk, just like the g920 and g29 and g923. the dual motors make the wheel lack really bad in the ffb zone. saving the little extra and starting with a t300rs is a way better choice and option to go with as its stronger and hybrid, yes still uses a motor but is dual belt driven also which makes it really smooth

Greetings from Malaysia! Love the video and the commitment to assemble everything before starting to race. The price itself is not that expensive. Even cheaper than a new G923 unit so I think this will be strong contender in a beginner market. Product wise, I love the look of the pedals because it looks sturdier and much more solid.
that's just the life of a office/sim rig set up, if the budget would allow I would get one of those foldable wheel stand but for now this is the life.
@@seagle-pixel it's a good rig to start but I don't really recommend it. If you want to upgrade the wheelbase then you have to upgrade everything again. If you have budget and space then just go for fix rig.

That would depend on maybe the price you can find them for but as ive said i have yet to try the v10, but considering they're almost the same(in regards to the wheelbase)i would just default to the v99, mainly regarding the wheel size, the v10 has a significantly smaller wheel that might be too small for your hands
considering performance, which one is better? maybe about the ffb, or the build quality?
Build quality difference would be mainly regard to the wheel and pedals
the v10 pedals are metal and plastic while the v99 is all plastic in regards to the heaviness of the pedals I can't give feedback on that, the v10 might have a bit of a leg up due to the springs
The wheel of both v10 and v99 has the same general build and quality. a metal front plate, plastic back, and metal paddle shifters their difference lie on the size the rim covers, the v10 is 240-250mm wheel covered with cloth? While the v99 is 300mm covered with rubber
FFB should be generally the same between the 2 with the v99 having a slight edge being newer.
finaly a review from a person who also started sim racing i am looking forward to buying a wheel but its out of my price range and the i saw this wheel and i wanted to see some reviews but all of the were people who are pretty rich so i didnt now should i get it or no but i found your video and i decided to get great job keep it up man
my first wheel was a PXN V900. Despite the negative reviews by some youtubers, I would say PXN actually has good products, not the best but good for the price and I would still recommend them to many first time wheel owners. Currently I have a G29 but I am interested in getting the PXN DD bundle as it is cheaper than the other wheels and is a complete set with clutch.
I have the V12Lite so the DD youre talking about it is amazing but you need to set it up in nearly every game but its worth it
my first wheel is was the pxn v3 pro which is even worse compared to the v9/v900 and I would agree with you, they're not the best but good for the price. The newer pxn DD wheels seem to be great for the price minus some software hiccups occasionally based on what I saw in reviews

Do you have any trouble setting up the wheel in yours games or with their software? Any tips for first time users?
If you played Dirt 1 or 2 with this, how is it compatible with the game?

@@baosy1955 I had no trouble setting the wheel up, but you have to bind the buttons manually in most games.
I haven't played the dirt games but there's a sheet somewhere with all the compatible games.
@ramentamago4094 you need a separate adapter for PS5, and I don't have a PS5 or acc so I can't answer you abt the last one sorry

I heard some people say that their software doesn't do anything much to the wheel, your thoughts after using it?
@@baosy1955 software is for mobile only, you can change ffb strength, steering angle, the bindings, and a few others such as spring, dampening and friction force.
I owned a v10 before upgrading to their v12 DD wheel. Buy a knob dust cover for your shifter because the metal stick is prone to rust. Also, use their phone app to tinker with software settings because other games like ACC, can have very muddy force feedback with pxn. Have fun!
It seems fine to me on acc, i drove my usual track(laguna seca) and while not similar it's not far, i would love to upgrade to a DD wheel but right now it's too expensive for me.
I didn't touch on the app as generally there's not much to do but i agree that for finer adjustments the app is a good tool. I guess next time i should add it

pretty odd that V99 is now cheaper than the V10. JG superstore's stocks for the V10 must be low and they're trying to sell out the V99
because V99 is actually below the V10 in PXN lineup.
In Brazil costs R$ 1800 or more

pxn is always surprise products. nabili ko na g29 tsaka pxn nato ay lalabas sila ng bagong variant wheels v99 and v12 lite. bad trip
i guess their marketing isn't as far reaching as other companies

they do sell stands, just make sure theyre compatible for the v99 or the v10 as they have the same mounting bracket
that wheel cost only 140$ for brand new here so it's really good for that price but for 240$ meh.
i bought from taobao for 999rmb so i am happy with that
Are you in china? Cause that price is ludicrous, if they sold that at that price brand new in other countries itll essentially destroy everything in the entry market

No. But you can on the v12 with a moza universal hub adapter

Just to step in, theres no comparison between the 2, there's no upgrade path for the v99, just go with fanatec or moza if you have that budget, the pxn equivalent for that bracket i believe is the v12 lite
you can use the v10 wheel with this I believe
that's what I believe Aswell but unsure and can't really test since I don't have a v10
