I've had this wheel base for a few months now. My first direct drive product. It's proven to be an excellent product so far. I use it in all the major Sims and it does not disappoint!

Hey there, I have a few questions about this. Sorry if it’s too much, lol 1. Did the chip for the PS5 come with the wheel, or do I need to buy it separately? 2. How did you fix the clutch issue on GT7? Did you unbind the clutch or something like that? 3. Is this useable on F1 23/24 on PS5? 4. Would you recommend this over, let’s say, a T300 RS GT? 5. Can you update the firmware using a mobile app?
As of April 2024, Microcenter has the DDS, 10 nm version, for $331.60 USD, $120 for the PXN wheel, and $200 for the pedals. For just over $550, that is a great price sans the non load cell pedals.
I have just purchased this wheel - waiting for it to arrive, but quite intrigued as the Moza R3 has just been released. Did you ever get the RGB shift light to work on PC? (And if so, how?)
Thanks for reviewing the PXN! There isn't a lot about this wheel. I only found your review and an unboxing. I'm looking at this model, The Fanatec CSL DD Ready to race Bundle and The Moza R3 bundle when it comes out. The PXN seems to have the most bang for the buck but the software makes me nervous. Secondly, I run a separate antivirus that quarantines the application executable after it is installed. It claims it’s a potential keylogger, though I haven’t done an actual analysis myself. My assumption (remember what they say about those though) is that Kaspersky thinks it reading USB input is suspicious since the application is unrecognized.
