Truckasourus Rex has been very impressive and now with a performance exhaust kit, it is even more of a joy to drive... The kit I decided on is the MBRP resonator back 4” black edition. I don’t blame you! But to be honest our cabs are super quiet and with the 10 speeds you don’t have the high revs. I hear my tires more than exhaust on the highway.
Sick truck man. I’m so intrigued by this 7.3.. and super duties are so badass.
I love the flowmaster true duals on my 2018 5.0. Sounds like an absolute beast, especially these cold Canadian winter mornings. I noticed it drones at around 2000RPM, notice it mostly going up a bit of an incline when it drops down to 9th gear (personally think 9th gear is useless anyway).
Anyway - much love for the last of the V8’s. Nothing else brings a smile on my face quite like them.

Thank you Chad! This is a good system for the money… but you’ll soon discover there isn’t much out there for our engines yet. I’ve got a cold air intake on the way but there were only two options out there…. Hopefully there will be more options out there for us in 2022! Congrats on the new ride! Wow, reminds me of the flow Masters on my old Mustang. Seems to be pretty quiet while driving normal and loud when you step on it.
It’s just what I wanted… not too loud and obnoxious but a enough rumble to enjoy it!

I have the same exhaust on my 2020 and I have to say I think it is affecting back pressure. Not sure but it’s only been on a few days now soo we will see how I feel after a while longer
To be honest I’m not the happiest with the system. There is a drone at about 1800 rpm’s that is extremely annoying. If I could do it over again I’d leave it stock. Keep me updated. Thanks for taking the time to comment and for watching!

It was about a $500 system, no improvement to mpg, and if I could do it again I would get a different system. This system has some drone in certain gears. That’s my honest opinion.

To be honest no, I did not see any mpg improvements. I think however if I had a tune I might would but that’s an assumption. I would have left it stock knowing what I know now. I wish I had a better report for you. Thanks for taking the time to comment and for watching.
How about at 70-75mph? Can you still have a normal conversation with family members on the freeway? That is one thing I am very impressed on my Duty, even with the Duratracs, the truck is very quiet on the freeway.
Thanks to the 10speed you’re doing less than 2k rpm. I can still hear my tires at 80 mph. Sound in cab is not bad at all and you would easily be able to carry on a conversation. Thanks for taking the time to comment and for watching! Cheers!

What exhaust brand and product is this?
Thanks for taking the time to comment and for watching! This is the same kit I have but the towards the rear is black. They make a black tip that can be subbed for the chrome if desired. Amazon doesn’t mention the 7.3 but it is definitely for the 7.3 as well as the 6.2. amzn.to/3rj2KLr
Was the install east enough to do with out a lift ?
You could definitely do it on the ground but it would suck… you’ll definitely have to cut the factory exhaust in half to get it out after you unbolt it.
