I've been taking 5mg of Bystolic for almost 2 years... My BP has gone from 150s/90s to 120s/70s. My resting heart rate down to the 60s when it used be around 100bps. I love this drug.. It's been so helpful!
totally disagree. bystolic has much less mental drag (blood brain barrier / nonlipoic) and as for reproductive health it has no negative and due to the enhancement of nitric system, some positive influence. Highly recommend this drug ask your doctor and ask manufacturer for a coupon, its now as cheap as atenolol.
Thank you for your comment Sober Living! I've been dealing with anxiety lately and found out my blood pressure was moderately high. My other issue was a fast heart rate. After numerous tests my doctor prescribed me Bystolic and since I've never been on any medications before and anxiety I was afraid to take the medication. To sum it all up, your comment and prayer gave me courage to try the medication and I noticed almost immediate results. No more Pulsative Tinnitus, fast heart rate, or anxiety. I'll be monitoring my blood pressure closely. Thank you! And of course thanks to the gentlemen for a wonderful presentation! TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!! :-)
Dr., respectfully, I think you did not present the bit about the racemic mixture correctly: The D-isomer grants it a blocking effect for ß1 receptors and the L-isomer is mainly responsible for the stimulating action of NOS, so both isomers are active.
lowered my BP on day one, but also gave me ED on day one. Don't think I can stay on this much longer. The best thing, as a type 1 diabetic, is it lowered my insulin resistance on day one. to the tune of 40 units/day less. its crazy
There are so many blood pressure meds. What works for you is based on your genetics and what you’re doing now. Are you athlete? Regular / semi-sedentary person, etc? So many variables. There’s no one drug for all.

I've been on Metoprolol now for 3 months . It has helped immensely with my anxiety. Also it has helped my blood pressure. The only drawback is it destroyed my sex drive . I have like zero libido on this drug
If you use a beta blocker for anxiety or acute stress hypertension - this is the best drug for you. The Beta 3 agonism causes nitric oxide synthesis. This will allow max heart rate when working out or walking etc. Coupled with its high selectively for Beta 1 receptor. Another words - you won’t feel winded like you will on a propanol.
Also it is specifically one of the best beta blockers for African people. One of the best blood pressure medications gor this group. What a confident yet unreliable doctor

Lowers my heart rate but not my blood pressure.
Ask your doctor for Lisinopril to take in the morning in addition to Bystolic at night.

My Doctor give me Nevibolol Nebelelet, but sometimes i have short breath as if im so tired do i have to stop it
