- Menzies Research Centre Senior Fellow Nick Cater discusses the recent review of Direction 99.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said the government will review the controversial Direction 99, which looks at a person's ties to Australia as a primary consideration for visa cancellations.
“I thought the only connection that really mattered was whether you were prepared to take out citizenship and take an oath of loyalty to the country,” Mr Cater told Sky News host Caroline Di Russo.
“That’s how it used to be.”
Australia Public really has to start holding these 2 partys Accountable. No Royal Commission for the Pandemic is an insult to the Australian people.

Those who are identified as 'eligible' for citizenship in other countries, even if they be Australian born, at the least, ought to have the 'Riot Act' read out to them, by the appropriate officials. Their parents, or next-of-kin shall be made to watch.
To the effect that if convicted of grievous or heinous offenses, they be liable to forfeit of Australian citizenship, and deportation to 'Other Country'.
