It's been 5yrs ago now since I watched this, and I came back to this because I was thinking of my mom. She passed away at the beginning of 2023 of a ruptured bowel as a complication of her chemotherapy.
It's just weird to me that this random video of Mark's that I watched somewhere between 12am-5am on one random night, hold such a bright memory of my life at that time.
It was so simple then. I stayed up cause I wanted a good excuse to skip school to avoid the forced isolation and bullying, and it was shortly after Thanksgiving then too, because I remember picking at leftovers all night as I was watching this series. The house was warm and cozy from the heaters, and I laid in my bed cracking up beyond belief with Mark watching these videos.
I edited a meme that I'd thought of from this video, and felt so proud of it that I showed mom first thing after she woke up around 4 hehe.. she was annoyed and confused, but she said "it's really cool that you made that on your own." to encourage me ig 😢
That night was cozy and nice, I felt happy and it was cute watching her reactions to some of the memes and Mark's reactions :)
In general I just really miss having someone who really would just hype me up no matter how stupid whatever I was proud of was, and to show my interests to. I haven't felt that way since she passed and it's been hard.
Thank you Mark for posting even just this one video, because it's kinda one of those things that means the world to me now..
