I can’t imagine what it must have been like to have people lose their minds in your presence. It could have been so easy to close himself from all of it. To be so thoughtful about the feelings of his fans…It’s just so excruciatingly sweet. Even admitting so forthrightly that he has a temper…Who does that? If I could have just an ounce of his patience and generosity… Well, in his spirit I’ll try. 🥰

Eyes are the reflection of the soul. Look at his. Then you notice the hair, the smile, the cheeks, the chisel. Then you listen. And you are astounded by the talent, the humility and the authenticity that exists in such an amazing human being. God rest his soul.

Wow, what an honest, open, frank , insightful and informative interview.
The thing that stood out for me, was his humility and gratitude to everyone who has been involved in his meteoric right to fame. He is so grounded, with no grandiose whatsoever of his status, thinks of himself no better than any other, has impeccable manners, never forgets his humble upbringing and the huge influence his parents had on shaping him to the person he is.
Although faced with many questions dome quite pertinent and personal, he answered them clearly and concisely. His thirst and quest of philosophical matters and other wonders and perspectives of life and beyond , so audible.
He comes across with a wise head, with no illusions as to what may or not lie ahead for him throughout his career. His attitude and respect to and of others is a testament to his childhood roots and humble upbringing, non judgemental and leaning on his own life experiences to help others.
It's quite apparent that he did always want to meet the right girl marry and settle down with a family, he was only too aware and had clearly experienced it even this stage it wasnt something he could rush in to, because of who he was he would, could and did attract ladies with the wrong intentions.
The world really was his oyster. Sad to think poor management stifled his acting and artistic dreams am, he became a commodity, used and exploited and a cash cow to all.
Listening to this interview, of all his hopes dreams and aspirations , who would thought that someone who gave his all , gave to all and had it all, at the age of 42 quite simply felt he had no more to give., what a tragedy.
Never to be equalled or surpassed .

He always treated people with respect because that’s how he was raised . He was sincere and humble about his talents. . He was the only one who who could sing in five different categories. From Rock 🎸 and Roll to His beloved Gospel . We will always love ❤️ you Elvis 🕺.

Very interesting interview. He must be 27 here but sounds about 40 - reflective, introspective and philosophical. A deep thinker. It's hard to reconcile this person with how he was painted by the media. Kudos to the interviewer for asking questions like 'do you like yourself'.

I cant get enough of his voice & the videos of him. The only way I will ever get close enough to someone dear to my ❤. As my mother married into the Presley family after he passed making him a distant late cousin of ours. I have yet to visit Graceland in the 29yrs of my life but I plan to get the asap this year in case it ever closes down is my fear. I've not been able to vacation but I dang sure am planning to go & it's to Gracland & all the historical places there having anything to do with him.
He was such a kind generous loving person but also very shy & nervous performing or in interviews even until he passed. He never thought he was good enough or knew why people liked him other then his looks being played as a sex symbol and not taken seriously & used in the movies to make $ of his name &🎶.
He would be soo happy to know that he is still remembered even 41yrs later as that was his biggest fear when he passed nobody would remember him. I've always thought about him since I was a kid and now am doing my research on him still loving him but more so even more as I get to hear and see him speak and perform

He sounds sad or tired or both but always a gentleman you feel an emptyness or sadness here I know what it feels like to grieve but have to go on with daily life that just sounds like what's going on here! Still a beautiful voice but he just sounds more somber, guarded and reflective than in ealier interviews!

Elvis , you are jst too beautiful for words , inside and out , humble kind hearted , not puffed up in any way shape or form, you never forgot where you came from , never let it all go to your head , honest and i believe you every word . you are unlike any other artist/ celebrity , ooh i called you a celebrity huh fancy that oh well ! lol . Never til writing that have i ever thought of calling you a celebrity !! , and a King, i won't call you that either as i know you don't like it , you say there is only 1 king and that's Jesus ! . And you would prefer people not to call you " Elvis the Pelvis " but you accept it graciously , funny really, wasn't really much your pelvis doing all the Girating it was mostly your legs that wiggled and oh boy did they wiggle . oh Elvis you were so loved by all well majority anyway you loved your fans but OMG did your fans love you , you changed the world , you changed music forever , you introduced "Rock & Roll as we know it today ! we love you as a musician , as a man the most beautiful soul that ever walked the earth . you always gave time to your fans and interviews always courteous, you recognise if you are famous half of your life belongs to the Public so honest and polite in all your interviews you never tire with so many questions fired at you in a short space of time you never get upset with the reporters jst politely answer , we want to know you all about you Elvis so we can feel close and to you !

Elvis studied medical science for years..wanted to go to college in that study..no money. He read about diseases, new findings, medical books, had a PDR..His interest was by no means exclusive to a PDR as so many fabricators like to tell. Besides learning from experience, Elvis was a voracious reader. He read very deep subjects, including philosophy and history. He could discuss at length many different subjects.Even very educated people said if him that he was the most educated person they knew. He had a photographic memory and knew almost by heart the Bible and could pull up a quote anytime to suit the occasion. He knew the entire MacBerh play and once acted it all out. He knew many famous speeches such as MLK Dream Speech and MacArthur's Old Soldiers Never Die speech. He knew everyone's dialog in his movies for the other actors. Elvis was not only a musical genius, he was also exceptionally intelligent with a very high IQ.

This must have been around '62/'63, NOT 1972. He clearly states (actually he talks a some length about it) that he lives on Bellagio Dr. in Bel Air, which he leased in late '61 thru Jan. '63, according to my research. Later on he says more than once that he is unmarried and has no children. I agree with you that he sounds sincere and smart. Also very patient. :)

Great interview period. But this photo strikes me. If you only look at the right side of his face it is Elvis in 1970. The left side is Elvis in the 50s. Kinda eerie.

❤ soo pure any time he expressed things he didnt or did like he would always say he wasn't putting those who had different interest down. Even when it came down to the newspapers lying about him. He was say it's all trash but they have a job to do just as he does & when they dont have a story they would make something up. Always considerate even to the negative ones out there & always considerate helping as many possible of those in need. Melts my ❤& i could never be more proud of him even today.
I'm going to do all I can to continue on my late distant cousins legacy &memories down to my kids, nieces &nephews. I wish Lisa Marie would of named her kids Presley especially her son or give them 2 last names so the name can continue on. My brother didnt have any kids & my youngest I'm sure will when old enough but between them & their father their the only Presley males left I know of to continue the name & their dad is done having kids lol
