Sometimes it feels like he’s purposely putting in stories that are considered inappropriate or a grey area to open people up to accepting of the stranger side. Which for him is pedophilia.

I like how this show highlights the dangers that come with female doctors. For example they are more emotional and sensitive which can be very dangerous in medicine. Whereas men are more logical and rational and tougher as well so they don’t break down so easily and do drastic things.
Because schizophrenia can manifest in different ways. Some only have delusions without auditory (voices) or visual hallucinations. Some only hear voices. Some only have visual hallucinations. Some present with all of the above. The producers of House seem to exaggerate with the visual hallucinations, tho, probably for dramatic effect.

I only had delusions, whilst mom had both delusions and visual hallucinations (seeing snakes in her bathtub, insects, shadows). In my psych ward stay, I've met other people with paranoid schizophrenia and I can't recall two cases that were the same.
