Loved this video. In terms of the Force Power "Essence Transfer", the most notorious Sith Lord that I know of to great extent to use this was Tenebrae, who we eventually would come to know as Darth Vitiate, Emperor Vitiate of the Sith Empire and eventually, Emperor Valkorion of the Eternal Empire. This man was an absolute menace, and it took extreme effort to defeat. I haven't read any Legends stuff in around 2 years so I cannot say if there any others who have done the same as Tenebrae. So forgive me if this seemed wrong and off
Right. Bane only sought the power, he never transferred. It's implied that he may have done a partial transfer into his apprentice before she killed him.
Perfect idea for a Star Wars fighting game: characters who canonically use Shatter Point will have more generous parry windows and deal bonus guard damage, characters who canonically use Force Morichro can hold an opponent longer than characters who use Stasis but Stasis users can do creative things with faulted projectiles regardless of who threw it first, characters who canonically use Force heal will either have a special move that requires a bit of setup (like a healing animation that can be interrupted if not careful) or they manifest emergency hp when they’re about to lose, characters who canonically use Force deflect can walk through Force Lightning but only if the player actually USES it
You forgot the force ability force absorption that is a force ability that allowed there uses to absorb force attacks and add there strength to there own. This ability is often used in Games from Jedi
Can we all just agree that most of these force powers are plot specific? As in, they are there to help a Jedi overcome a specific situation generated by the story. This is very much like Superman's ability to reverse time, or to make Louis forget his secret identity with a kiss. In short, most force powers are farce powers.
Ive always thought the force is just a macguffin it does whatever the writers want it to do and the plot requires. Its fairly vague and can have creative applications but also cause inconsistancies.
no we can't. because these are documented powers that must be trained and earned. However who uses them can be a little sketch on the plot armor side. Ahsoka using force jump then landing softly is something they show her training to do. rey using mind trick on the stormtrooper with zero training and pulling it out of her ass is bad plot specific BS. If it's a known ability that a character uses after training it's fine. Random person they just met on the street aka Rey, doing stuff ....somehow is not good writing
It’s a soft-magic power system; basically a power system that isn’t as intricate and generally leaves room for creative freedom for writers to do whatever they wish with said power system.
On a related note, I loved how KOTOR handled force power descriptions. The metanarrative((?) I dont know what you'd call it) is that these were skills built/created during the mandolorian wars and the civil war amongst jedi and each progression was seen as a jedi becoming more of a threat in that area. Same way with the Jedi Knight series but on a much deeper level
@@darkurathehatedlord877 Force storm was a volatile dark side Force power capable of creating hyperspace wormholes that were able to displace objects across vast distances and tear apart the surfaces of entire planets. Storms were incredibly difficult to control once unleashed and required mastery in many different Force disciplines. Dopplegänger, also known as Similfuturus in High Galactic, was an advanced Force power that allowed a user to create a short-lived duplicate of themselves or an external object that was visually indistinguishable from the real item through the Force. Memory Walk, also known as torture by chagrin, was a Force ability that reached into the mind and forced a target to relive their worst memories. It was used over the millennia by various dark side groups, including the Sorcerers of Tund and the Order of the Sith Lords. Mnemotherapy (also known as vein routing) was a Force technique used primarily by the Theran Listeners to visualize the target's memories and eradicate them. Luke Skywalker was taught Mnemotherapy, and used a powerful version of it to free Callista Ming from Abeloth. Flow-walking was a rare Force power used by the Aing-Tii monks. I would say that the best one for me, would probably be “Force Endure”, or “Force Healing”. It fits better with my martial arts training, and minor healing factor
Shatterpoint isn't limited to fractures in the force. Most users are limited to perceiving microscopic fractures in objects. They could then "pour" the force into those fractures to break the object. One of my favorite instances of this was when Jacen Solo shattered a Mandalorian's Beskar chest plate with a tap of his finger. Mace Windu was one of the only users (THE only user as far as I knew) who could see fractures in the force itself. Interestingly, almost all of these would technically fall under the umbrella of telepathy, telekinesis, or physical augmentation.

Force lightening had disabled mace windu's force abilitys since he was badly injured plus his other arm was gone and maybe just maybe it required both hands to use the slow down ability in words mace windu did learn ir but died of 2 things, his arm was gone and didn't had his force abilitys enabled as they were disavled and with thunder it shocks the human body to restrain some muscle movement plus his force abilitys since that explains it fully.
I also suspect there are limits to how far you can slow yourself. 2 feet no problem, 30 feet reduce the speed so you only suffer the equivalent of 3 feet 3000 feet into the depths of the city like he did you need to fly not slow or splat. In legends the witches of Dathomir could fly.
My favorite is force amplification, it’s something essentially all force sensitives use, usually instinctively at first, to amp specific traits in a fight, it used to be said that weaker force adepts could only enhance 2-3 traits at once, but more adept could enhance every single trait, to extremely superhuman levels.
Sidious was far from mastering Essence Transfer. The only person who truly mastered it was the Black Eyed Sith Tenebrae who lived and manipulated the galaxy for 1500 years.
This video about the Force Abilities, give the Spikeyvincibles more power and strength, and fame. In my opinion, Spikeyvincibles used the Force Abilities, for varieties of different custom roles, and techniques, enabling them, to use it against the enemies, or each other, on the front lines. 😊😊😊 I'll add that to my list, and thanks for your help, Red Five Forces. 😊😊😊 Keeep up the good work, and see you then. 😉😉😉
Force light was a light side ability in legends that saw a light aligned force sensitive focus their force energy into a singularity on the tip of 1 of their fingers that temporarily blinded their opponents. more powerful practitioners of the ability like luke skywalker were able to use it to completely and permanently sever a dark siders connection to the force.
Lets see... *cracks knuckles* -Force Valor, the Light Side version of Force Rage. Pretty much does the same thing. Is how the crippled and elderly like Yoda can increase their strength and speed through the Force. -Tutaminis, a catch-all term for a wide range of abilities that boils down to internal energy control and manipulation. Tutaminis can be used to absorb a blaster fire in one hand and shoot it from the other at the original shooter. It can be used to regulate the internal temperature of the body, protecting from heat and cold, and it can be used to safely discharge lightning attacks, like how Yoda caught and snuffed out the lightning that was shot at him. -Clairvoyance, the ability to sense events outside the range of your physical senses, like how Qui Gon and Obi Wan immediately felt when their pilots were killed in Episode One. -Force Weapon, the ability to use the Force to strengthen the material of an object. This was the predecessor to Force Alchemy and used by the Je'daii before the age of Lightsabers. The current Jedi order would consider this a Dark Side skill, with the only exception being the enhancing of living materials such as wood. I'll stop at these for now.
I liked the video an I’m in no way insulting it but I’m gonna do all the other I know (and explain them if necessary): 1. Dark healing (used to heal oneself or others) 2. Force plague 3. Force repulse (a spherical surge of energy sent outwardly from the user in an offensive manner) 4: force whirlwind 5. Tutaminis (this was included but called “force reflect”) 6. Memory walk (force the victim to relive their gravest memory) 7. Force resistance (prevents one from incurring force powers from any lesser force user) 8. Force nexus (the ability to manifest a force nexus in a place or an object, this has only been used twice; one was the creation of the soul saber, and the other was by Shaak Ti on felucia in legends.) 9. Force terror (you can cause those around you to be scared of you from your mere presence) 10. Drain resistance (not to be confused with force resistance. This was descovered by Ulic Qel-Droma to grant immunity to force drain, or any device that drained force energy.) Also I just wanna say thanks so much for including the Sith force ghost variation, and clarifying its differences from the Jedi force ghost ability!
I remember reading about a force ability in the book of the jedi that makes it possible to create a dublicate of an object or droid that lasts for a certain time. And if remember correctly, Ahsoke made a comment next to it asking if it is possible to do it with a whole clone army.
There's "Force Pimpin' " which is the ability to use the force to impress potential mates such as Anakin Skywalker used on Padme Amidala, specifically while the two were hiding out on Naboo for Padme's protection while Obi-Wan investigated into who was attempting to assassinate Padme.
Now that I know all of this, it makes me wonder: are there any force user that could use all of the force abilities? I know a lot can master the vast majority of them, but is there one that can use them all?
1)pass through solid objects (aka force phase) 2)control planets matter (aka plant), 3)force blast, 4)sith magic, 5)sith Alchemy. 6)Midi-chlorian manipulation was a form of Sith alchemy 7) force powered technologies 8) sith artifact which were made with the power of the force. 9)Force storm (wormhole). 10) night sister sometimes called Magik 11) force zombie (part of Magik)
you forgot the force walk, an extremely rare ability which the ancient dark lord of the sith, darth nox, used to bind the ghosts of powerful dead sith lords and harness their power. he was known as the master of the dead and his bond with the dead kept his physical body from the grave.
I will answer your question on Mace Windu, he knows Controlled descent. It is shown in attack of the clones. Just before his infamous (and admittedly regretted for the rest of his life) as he falls to the Arena floor he lands safely after jumping away from Jango's flame thrower. There is no way anyone could survive a fall like that, or at the very least get some bone cracking. I know you were being rhetorical there, but I don't think Mace is dead. At least not from that fall, remember this is the Jedi version of Samuel Jackson and as he told Lucas "There is no way Mace goes down like that." Palpatine was likely to have severed much of his force connection, not all of it but enough to render him between th Padawan/Knight zone. My opinion I know not likely.
Force Walking is a rare dark side power that allows the practitioner to absorb restless Force spirits, the Sith Lord Ergast originally created this through the use of Sith alchemy and Darth Nox the descendant of the Kallig family would adopted this power as well. However the only drawback to this power is that if the practitioner’s physical body continues to absorb too much energy of the Force spirits the practitioner will eventually become weaker and die
Flowwalking, mindwalking, all the weird nightsister vodoo, force storms... I'm suure there would b a lot more to find if one really tries. These were just spontanious ideas...
If it is at all possible, maybe you could rerelease this video and include numbers as well. Its not as if we're asking for a count down or something. Just a way to keep track. Otherwise koo. I didn't know about some of the ones you mentioned. Thank you. -E-
Don't forget force powers like force net where the user created giant nets, balls or rope made of energy which could bind someone. Or force cryo which could freeze people (I actually really wish that was used more rather than just being mentioned in the odd book or two), out right necromancy (though that could be classified as sith alchemy), or force/sith plague
Cal casually learning force abilities from the prequels sequels and original trilogy’s and how ironic the first force ability he learned was a ability from the sequels and he learned all of these with no Jedi training besides his training he got prior to his first force ability, and when he was a child during order 66 and got minor training before needing to hide on that scrap planet or a different planet eventually going to that planet
Idk what it is called but it is a rare force ability where the user can charge force energy and then release it in a single large and deadly burst, like what starkiller does
battle meditation makes ones allies stronger while demotivating their enemies and darth bane essence transfer tried to use it on darth zannah but failed

bane's apprentice darth zannah used the force to conceal her true nature while infiltrating the jedi temple
I liked the video an I’m in no way insulting it but I’m gonna do all the other I know (and explain them if necessary):
1. Dark healing (used to heal oneself or others)
2. Force plague
3. Force repulse (a spherical surge of energy sent outwardly from the user in an offensive manner)
4: force whirlwind
5. Tutaminis (this was included but called “force reflect”)
6. Memory walk (force the victim to relive their gravest memory)
7. Force resistance (prevents one from incurring force powers from any lesser force user)
8. Force nexus (the ability to manifest a force nexus in a place or an object, this has only been used twice; one was the creation of the soul saber, and the other was by Shaak Ti on felucia in legends.)
9. Force terror (you can cause those around you to be scared of you from your mere presence)
10. Drain resistance (not to be confused with force resistance. This was descovered by Ulic Qel-Droma to grant immunity to force drain, or any device that drained force energy.)
Also I just wanna say thanks so much for including the Sith force ghost variation, and clarifying its differences from the Jedi force ghost ability!
This channel helps me understand Star Wars more.
I remember reading about a force ability in the book of the jedi that makes it possible to create a dublicate of an object or droid that lasts for a certain time. And if remember correctly, Ahsoke made a comment next to it asking if it is possible to do it with a whole clone army.
Essentially, the Star Wars universe is like a video game, the force is the source code, and some people have the ability to manipulate the source code
2:58 That explains why a certain character in Rouge One was able to fight so well despite being blind.
Shatterpoint! Ideas for next video: bios of Jedi or sith and category of ships used by the Empire, Rebels, Jedi, etc
There's "Force Pimpin' " which is the ability to use the force to impress potential mates such as Anakin Skywalker used on Padme Amidala, specifically while the two were hiding out on Naboo for Padme's protection while Obi-Wan investigated into who was attempting to assassinate Padme.
force awareness is easily my favorite. drop all the magic stuff and rely merely on enhancing ones own perception of their surroundings? awesome.
Now that I know all of this, it makes me wonder: are there any force user that could use all of the force abilities? I know a lot can master the vast majority of them, but is there one that can use them all?
Most of these fall under telekinesis so yes. Grandmaster EU luke could probably use all of them
@@lapplandkun9273Eu Luke had psychometry?
@@lapplandkun9273force lighting Luke?
@@cautarepvp2079 Luke could use a variant called electric judgement. But no, he didn’t have psychometry. Luke probably had most of them, not all.
@@lapplandkun9273The father probably had them all
You missed one for ability, plot armor. It makes you immune to everything.
1)pass through solid objects (aka force phase)
2)control planets matter (aka plant),
3)force blast,
4)sith magic,
5)sith Alchemy.
6)Midi-chlorian manipulation was a form of Sith alchemy
7) force powered technologies
8) sith artifact which were made with the power of the force.
9)Force storm (wormhole).
10) night sister sometimes called Magik
11) force zombie (part of Magik)
I heard that starkiller's ash trick was just a really strong force push
That’s force destruction
I love the Force it's so cool
14:29 I think that explains how Rey teleported a lightsaber (instead of herself) to Ben in TRoS.
you forgot the force walk, an extremely rare ability which the ancient dark lord of the sith, darth nox, used to bind the ghosts of powerful dead sith lords and harness their power. he was known as the master of the dead and his bond with the dead kept his physical body from the grave.
So Star Wars force is like today Wifi ? can communicate across galaxy ?
May Wifi be with you. 😅❤
In rebels Ezra bridger used a technique to find out a name from a list directed by kanan
This just makes the need for a Star Wars rpg similar to baldurs gate so much more needed
The closest you are going to get is Star Wars The Old Republic.
Knights of the Old Republic is pretty much that
I'm disappointed you didn't use Bastila Shan for battle meditation or even her bond with Revan.
i am a dark jedi with a medichlorian count of 17000 i spesialize in force drain and psychometry, also possesing basic force powers
Only 17,000?
I suppose that's enough.
You'll suffice
Also missed the force maelstrom, force storm, force destruction, force blast, dark transfer, force blinding and total oneness
I thought you would mention starkiller's ability to make that Shockwave with force lightning
I think Anakin had Psychometry, in episode 3 he used something similar and asked padme if obi wan came to their home
Even tho the Star Wars Sequels are terrible, being able to pull objects from across galaxies is pretty cool. Kylo Ren & Rey did this a lot
Battle meditation explained in the bane novels is so much more then you have it credit for
Tbh I would take Force Rage with enhanced Athleticism is basically a duelist dream
Force Bond = force FaceTime
Flowwalking, mindwalking, all the weird nightsister vodoo, force storms... I'm suure there would b a lot more to find if one really tries. These were just spontanious ideas...
My fav is force kill that Vader did in rouge one in the hallway scene
You forgot Force drain,Force Repulse and Force choke. correct me if I’m wrong.
They did remember drain but not repulse or choke
They're in there, but more generally speaking lumping them into general powers like telekinesis, repulsion of attacks, and drain
one of the strongest imo in force storm by Palpatine. it's what it sounds like.
Force light? I believe Yaddle was one of the only ones who could use it.
Thawn and Nomi sunrider could
If it is at all possible, maybe you could rerelease this video and include numbers as well.
Darth Malak notably had this ability I believe
@@Jtry_ which one? cryo? Net? Necromancy or plague? because plague is a power in the game I know.
You forgot Force Noods; the ability to turn an opponent's arms into pool noodles when fighting near a body of chlorinated water.
What about Path sensing? Mari San Tekka possessed that ability and its canon for sure as the Path Engines are too.
There was also Force Maelstrom pioneered by Darth Malgus.
Didn't see fold space and perhaps the The Shapers of Kro Var elements powers. I was hoping to see if its used at a utility method.
I don't know if it's canon anymore, but my boy darth vectivus created the ability known as force phantom
Legends is canon so yes
@@lapplandkun9273 legends is not canon... that's why it's called legends 💀
@@importedposter4152Legends was cannon until Disney, which means it still is cannon
@@DeliverQuality not at all how that works
@@importedposter4152 exactly how it works
Maaaan apart from mind and force stuff, most applications of the force fall into the telekinesis category. Whether it is for matter or for energy.
You forgot the force mask it alaws the user to change his apperence force mask was used by palpatine
Im not sure if telekinesis at a extreme stellar scale would be the same...like example being luke moving black holes
Jedi mind trick is Goated
I also know an ability called froce blind which obviously blinded one temporary or for ever.
1:44 OH NO NOW DISNEY WILL TRY TO MAKE WINDU SERIES!
Assuming that Mace Windu’s brain wasn’t “well done” before the fall.😅
Blackwing Virus thing is looks like a zombie apocalypse movie came out.
Ik “pyrokenisis” exists, but if dark side users had a force fire ability I don’t think much would be opposed…. cool concept🤷♂️
Force Storm. THE most powerful dark side power.
My star wars character actually uses quite a few dark side abilities, even though he's a jedi
Idk what it is called but it is a rare force ability where the user can charge force energy and then release it in a single large and deadly burst, like what starkiller does
Kinetite, and Vader used it in Legends.
I’m pretty sure that falls under force push, which falls under telekinesis
It’s called force repulse
Yeah but it is where they can even use the force to (I think the word is imbue) the lightsaber, like what starkiller does
force blast it vaporizes targets
I thought there was more. Some of em seem broken lol. Love it
You forgot the Force ability that luke uses against the death droids
Force deflection is my favourite!
Ah yes Devastating Force kick
I love it how we can explain some acting fails as a using force in star wars movies🤣
If I am not mistaken Force Rend is missing unless it was said under a different name.
that technique used against the yuuzhan vong
Considering how there’s Sith-only abilities and no Jedi-only abilities… I think the dark side has the right idea
I love force lightning
The funny thing is that a lot of these force powers exist in real life.
what 💀
You missed force flight. Count dooku could fly in clone wars cartoon.
Force horniness is missing. Anakin Skywalker used that ability a lot during the clone wars
battle meditation makes ones allies stronger while demotivating their enemies and darth bane essence transfer tried to use it on darth zannah but failed
Force summoning? Ray used it to grab a lightsaber from the other side of the galaxy
Why wasn’t there a force trip or force foot sweep? That would change so many fight outcomes if they just knocked someone off their feet😭
Didn't you miss the one luke used when he became an illusion when he "fought" kylo ren
Force Illusion/Mirroring?
