Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT All-Season LT295/70R18 129/126S Tire March /2022 and have put about 20k miles on them up and down the east coast and so far so good. 2017 Ram with truck camper. I went up a couple sizes for the weight ratio. K02's are on my 95 K1500 and they are awesome for that truck.
Not a bad list but certainly missing some big hidden superstars. First of all just at least put on the Falken Wildpeaks!! My list would also swap in Firestone Destination XTs, Cooper Discover Rugged Trek, and the new, overlooked Yokohama Geolander AT XD!
Great Suggestions! Falken AT3W was a top pick, but I'm slightly disappointed with the new AT4Ws. Firestone Destination XTs and Cooper Discover Rugged Trek fall into the RT category, so I'll be making a separate video on those. As for the Yokohama Geolander AT XD, I'm currently testing it out.
@@comparethetire Firestone Destination XT is NOT a rugged terrain (RT) come on man 🤦♂️. As for the new AT4Ws I see how they re-designed for more toughness and build vs the top-notch slick weather traction, but still can’t not be in the best rankings. Hopefully the Yokohama comes out real good, people gotta start buying
In the comments I read about Duratrac RT, they praise its performance on snow and comfortable ride on asphalt. What would you like to say about this? What is the difference on snow compared to Mickey Thompson? I need to upgrade to a new set soon and there are no mickey thompson dealers where I live.
Very nice. Appreciate the feedback on these all terrain wheels. Had the MT Baja Boss A/T in line for my next tire replacements after doing research on my options. Currently wearing down a set of Falken Wildpeak AT3 at the moment.
I have 37/12.50/17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T’s on my Jeep JLU. I think this tire is fantastic in deep sand, deep snow, and ice as well at the rain. Still really good in mud, and grip. These tires grip the road well in all conditions. Being a hybrid A/T it is closer to a Mud Terrain. That being said they do make some noise. These compared to the BFG KO2’s which are supposedly amazing, these blow those away. The KO2’s slide on all surfaces. The Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T’s are the best by far. My friends with the The Toyo Open Country MT’s and Nitto Trail Grapplers think they have the best tires. Only in Mud, and off-road grip. They are not as good as the Baja Boss’s in the rain, and suck in the snow and ice. When complain I have about this tire is that a compound is so hard that it takes it to be significantly aired down to change the shape. It can be aired a rougher ride if the road psi is incorrect. These tires are heavy, and this tread compound is really tough. I love these tires.
@joshuathorpe3808 Great feedback bud. I do believe that we're on the same page about these tires. By that, I mean for it's purpose and you pretty much broke down nicely. Thank you. Glad you love them. I'm pretty sure that I will too.
I put the Destination AT2 on my 4Runner a few months ago and I'm very happy with it. Better performance than the OEM tires on wet and dry handling and better MPG.
Regarding fuel economy - what is the difference between the Firestone AT2 (being the best) and, say, Geolandar G015 (being mentioned as not great in this regard)..? Is it like 5% in MPG or 10%, or more like 20%?
The Dunlop Grantrek AT5 is a solid choice for all-terrain performance, providing good grip and durability. It should work well with your 20" rims on the Ford Everest. Also let me know by liking this comment guys, if you want me to compare it with any other tire.
@@urch-rs7dx it's really not that heavy for what it is. I dropped almost 10lbs a corner going from nittos to these.. basically a winter rated mud tire with better longevity and better road manners..

Firestone great tyre

Yup. recently published Wildpeak RT and Toyo RT Trail.

Well Mickey Thompson offers better snow performance in comparison.
@@comparethetire Thank you for this comment . Its helpful 🙏

I've been using the baja boss a/ts for just over a year. no complaints

A lot of the tires you showed should not be considered all terrain. A Mickey Thompson tire you missed is the Baja legend. Great tire.
Missed?
@comparethetire Didn't include, failed to show,
Its the first tire on the list.
@comparethetire the first tire is not the Baja legend EXP
The tire you should have included is Mickey Thompson Baja Legend EXP

Yes, they are pretty great when it comes to those 3 areas.

Firestone AT2 offers about 1-2% better fuel economy compared to the Geolandar G015, which is around a 0.3-0.5 MPG improvement.

Where is Dunlop Grantrek AT5 here? Any comment with this time? I have 20" rims for Ford Everest

Falken wildpeak people are gonna be upset with this one
Yes I get that.
Still odd that its not even top 10. No way 10 a/t tires are better.
@@comparethetireThis isn't even a reputable list without the Falken. It's far superior to numerous tires on that list and likely a contender for #1
Did you test the new Yokohama Geolandar At4 G018 ? I'm very curious about it!
The Geolandar AT4 G018 is on my list for upcoming reviews! Stay tuned for an in-depth look at its performance.
Did you test the wildpeak at3 or at4?
Yes, we published a video of their comparison too.
General Grabber AT3 is not included in the TOP - are they really worse than this top 10?..
Not at all. Some tires arent great at anything yet perform consistently across all types of conditions.
Cooper St max? You can stud them too.
Yes that's right.
Great 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thanks 🤗
Finally!!!!!!!
😂
Yokohama geolandar at xd.. the best out there
Yes its a very nice hybrid a/t pick.
That tire looks amazing but it’s sooo damn heavy!

How about the nokian nat?
Yes they are okay, but there's wasn't anything unique about them that could put them in the list.
Couldn't make it to the list. Sorry.
@comparethetire 😂🤦🏻♂️
"Slits" LOL!! They're called sipes!
Yes, we've mentioned that a lot in detail in our other videos. Please check them out too, I hope you'd like them.
Nitto Ridge Grappler fans are gonna be disappointed 😂
Yes I get that. Its a nice tire.
General Grabber ATX 3 is the worst tire I have ever owned. Absolute garbage in the winter and deep snow.
The tire was squishy on my 3/4 ton diesel. I went to Toyo RT and never looked back.
I think you'd like the snow performance of Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T
Goodyear shouldn't be on this! Are anything they make
I understand where you're coming from.
