The beads may stick to the glue a little bit. Ideally, you will get a bead big enough to fit over the knot, and the knot will get glued to the inside of the bead - this is actually very stable. As for beads getting glued to eachother, I recommend not "globbing" on the glue. Use the glue sparingly.
I have been making stretch bracelets for 2 years. I found that the Magic cord does not stay tied if it is 1mm or larger. any suggestions. I use strtch gossimer floss and Magic .8mm, still looking for better stretch cords.
Thank you for this video. I have made a few bracelets, but have found that as I take them on and off the elastic cord is not stretching back and the bracelets are getting looser. Not sure what I did wrong or maybe I need to use different cord. I am using .5mm. Do you have any suggestions? I appreciate any help.
Hi Tiffy, we used GS Hypocement in the video, and it is available on beadshop.com. I love this stuff and use it quite a bit. The percision applicator makes it ideal for fine detail work.
Hi Leann, I have tried to use clear nail polish in the past for the same pupose, but it is short lived and turns the elastic yellow over time. I have been wearing these bracelets on a regular basis since I posted the video in 2010, and my knot has not come undone, and the plastic has not yellowed from the GS Hypocement. Clear nail polish is better than nothing, but it is not an jewler's grade hypoxy like the Hypocement. If you have any further questions, please email me at nicole@beadshop.com
Hi, sorry for the delayed response - Clear nail polish can be substituted, but it is not the same grade of adhesive, and will cause the knot to yellow over time. I will admit that I have used it in a pinch, but I would suggest using GS Hypo cement or a product like Goop. Email nicole@beadshop.com if you have any further questions.
didn't you see that the only thing you have to do is just put the beads you want in the order you want them and that's it, there are lots of videos showing that simple step and as I know this is the first and I think only video that will show you the most hard part which is how to secure your stretch bracelet...
Hi Michael, I am so sorry for taking so long to get back to you. You can email me pictures of what you are interested in learning to nicole@beadshop.com, and I can try to point you in the right direction.
Perfect! I made necklaces but always wanted to learn how to do bracelets. Thank you for posting this, really helpful!
The only tutorial that my knot actually remained tied! Thank you so much.

Thank you so much!! So grateful for the video. Nicely done. I had no idea that glue was involved. Glad I watched this, before gifting them. ;+))
I used 1.5mm stretch magic for the bigger bead bracelet. The smaller bead bracelet used 0.7mm elastic.
VERY helpful! Really wish I would have seen your video before spending money on the class I took. Thanks :)
Thanks for that, I will now try a little project myself!
So easy yet my brain couldn't wrap around it until i watched it. Thank you!!!

Will using clear nailpolish work as well?
Is it ok to use Swarovski or crystal beads with the cord?
what is the average size of beads for the arm candy bracelets 6mm and lower or 8mm and highter?
how does one know what size stretch magic cord to get for things like these bracelets? thanks.

I have to learn how to make myself

A surgeon's knot works much better than square knots.
Very well done, Thx ;-))

A stretchy bracelet
You sound like Eileen from the regular show lol
No need always buy save money
Or a helper
Why so many knots? Surgeons knot is so much better...
