    Thank you for your lessons!!!! It is a good way to discover and revise Russian words!!! The only suggestion I could give you is write the script of your exchanges to be able to reread your lesson, but it is excellent))))) and I am a teacher, so you can be proud of your work!!!! Your revision at the end is a very good idea too!!!! Thank you very much!!!!

    Thank you so very much for these videos. I am trying to teach myself russian. I really appreciate that you use english letters to "help" assist along with Russian letters. The Russian letters make different sounds but for those of us who are still "fine tuning" IT REALLY HELPS!

      @AntoniaRomaker  9 років тому

      Victor Kwasnikow I am glad that it helps ;)
      p.s. do you teach Russian, really? :) or do you mean you study it?

    • @Wolfinizer
      @Wolfinizer 9 років тому

      In English you may sometimes use the words "teach, taught" when you are without an instructor. You are right I am studying Russian but I want to imply emphasis that I am learning on my own. Do you know a good resource for native Russians who wish to practice their English? i would love to get to practice with others :)

      Victor Kwasnikow, try this web site -->
      www.interpals.net/
      or simply --> vk.com
      p.s. I have never seen the verb 'teach' used in this meaning

    Instead of saying "unbound hair" it is far more common to say "down" in America. For example, "today I am wearing my hair down." The opposite is also true. Bound, would be "up." Today, my hair is up.

      Colin Wade . Really enjoying these video lessons. Yes I have noticed a lot of 'Americanisms' in the translations - not just here. fringe - uk / bangs - usa
      Plural of 'mouth' in pronounced like 'mouthz' more than mouthes. 😊😊

    Hey! I love your videos, I've been watching for a while. My Russian friend said she had never heard рты. I was a little confused, could you explain maybe?

    • @AntoniaRomaker
      @AntoniaRomaker  10 років тому

      "рты" is plural for "рот", and as long as it is not a paired part of the face, it is used in plural very-very-very seldom, and usually in set expressions like "голодный рты"

    We don't have single and pural from of any objects or parts of our body. For example "hair" just put number in front to indicate how many and "hair" stays the same. This is even harder than a time :'' ( But I'll keep learning, like your video by the way.

    • @AntoniaRomaker
      @AntoniaRomaker  9 років тому

    • @AntoniaRomaker

      Antonia Romaker - English and Russian online I was referring to the video around ~ 3:25 . Well honestly I couldn't understand the Russian dialogue, but from the body language it looked like what you two were saying veered to something a little naughty perhaps? or maybe not and I am just reading to much into it. thanks for your replies by the way. a great channel and I always appreciate people spending their time to teach others, no matter what it is. :)
