    Shadowing is a great way to practice your pronunciation, prosody, grammar and so much more, but the key is knowing what to focus on. When you focus on EVERYTHING, you focus on NOTHING!
    Today, I’m going to teach you how to shadow intentionally, using a scene with Wednesday Addams from the Netflix show Wednesday.

    One of the best shadowing practice videos. I’d never really been interested in practicing shadowing since I never found it as effective and useful, but this video’s definitely convinced me that it helps a lot with pronunciation and intonation. Thanks a lot!

    That interesting, I know it as mirroring, ( someone mirror, intonation, rhythm, pitch from someone to speak in same level. Even gesture, considering human body has powerful synestesy. Wow, you are using NLP in learning. You helping student with good tools.
    I learn English with other teacher, but there is benefits check others modalities, people get creative in teaching. Good job.

    Most of my students find Ted talks a good source for shadowing practice. You can always find a topic you feel connected to, the speech is always clear and well structured, and the transcript is correct, even if auto-generated.

    That’s how I was solving fill in the blank questions of English prep skip exams if there were similiar meaning words or words which I had no idea. I wasn’t a fan of prepared tests of second languages they were spoiling the rhythm so I was left alone with awkward paragraphs to fill it with words taken from dictionary for its random first meaning.
