Just wanted to say thanks for the video. It's an easy assembly but still nice to have a video showing it. Just got my concept 2 model D rower and will assemble it after I have written this. Will be interesting to see the difference of a concept 2 compared to the rower I previously used. Hopefully it was worth the money.
@@Diana.Prince Worth it for sure. Has been an interesting journey since I got my c2. Lots of struggles and lots of progress. Currently in a bit of a slump but trying to get my results back to were they were 1 month ago. Compared to the rower I was using previously it's a night and day difference. Couldn't have trained like I have for the past 11 months on that rower. Never bit as fit in my life as I am now.
At first I dislike this video, then changed my mind and liked it. His lack of enthusiasm was initially offputting but he's quite clear and informative. Just the facts!
I disagree that he is not enthusiastic. It's an unboxing and assembly video. Quick, concise, easy to follow, and he showed us each step. I think he's enthusiastic in the manner in which he described everything, the chain, the ergonomic handle, the damper, the smooth and silent monorail. Just got mine and I'm confident about putting it together after watching this video. Thank you so much.
i guess im asking randomly but does anyone know a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I somehow lost the login password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
@Ishaan Ayden Thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Just ordered mine , thank you so much for posting this informative video, how are you doing with the C2,any progress or update videos you will be posting anytime soon.....cheers
Hi Tony. Thanks for your kind feedback. Congratulation with your Concept 2 indoor rower - you will not regret it! :-) I do row 3-4 times (1 hour) a week - mostly doing row-spinning to music adapted to series of different paces. I do intent to make more videos, but have been too busy. Please let me know what would you like to see here on my channel? Happy rowing and a happy new year. Cheers Kim :-) PS Have you visited my website too? rowingconcept.com
Thanks robv60 - happy to help you! Please let me know what else Concept 2 row information you would like to see on my channel… Happy rowing and a happy new year! Best regards Kim :-)
Hi XXLStrength - I agree Concept 2 indoor rowers are the best and most used everywhere. The Model E has its seat higher placed. The Model D is more compact and easy to store. Happy rowing! :-)
@@JohannesTraining yes!!!! And there was/is a 3 month wait list for the model d. Production was shut down temporarily due to pandemic and then demand was high because people had nothing to do but stay home.
Sir, how hard would it be to obtain different feet straps? Would it be possible to do so on this model? I just dont want to spend 1000 and not be able to change the straps, the straps at the gym i use at my school are the same type and they are annoying because to me they loosen up later. Maybe it is because they are old, maybe it is just the strap, but if its possible to switch it to the clicking straps, that would be awesome! Either way, this video was thorough and well done sir,, thank you.
Dear Jonathan Arteaga, I do think that the foot straps on your gym is worn out and should be replaced or is assembled wrong. You find a sparepart list here: www.concept2.com/service/indoor-rowers/model-d/manuals-and-schematics I would advise you not to change the foot straps on your new indoor rower. The foot straps works very fine if they are not worn out. A clipping strap would hurt you foot during training. To convince you - try to test ride a newer machine if possible. If you have further questions - please do not hesitate to contact me again. Happy rowing! Kim :-)
Hi Trusteft According to Concept 2 in US they have tested the Model D indoor rower to a maximum user weight of 227 kg. But the European EN standard states max. user weight 135 kg. You should be safe with a weight below 227 kg - but you can get it confirmed directly from Concept 2 US (Sales and Customer Service: Toll-free 800.245.5676 or direct 802.888.7971). On their website thy write: Maximum User Weight: 500 lb (227 kg) as tested by Concept2.* *300 lb (135 kg) as tested per European Stationary Fitness Equipment Testing Standard EN 20957-7. One of the best rowing machines on the market, model E even more comfortable with raised seat height :)

Yes, but Concept2 is not making the model e presently, only the model d

there are videos on youtube of Brian Shaw (USA strongman) using the C2, and he is somewhere around 190-200kg. It is a strong machine!
not used because it makes too much noise ?
Thank You
Thank you for doing this video. Very helpful. I can only think the 20 people who disliked this video either pressed the wrong button or are trolls.
Well done vid, but kids don’t follow the example and work without shoes.
