thank you for the share and demonstration, I have a suggestion , place the soft side of the velcro on the adapters area where you clamp ANY glass to. been there done that and no cracking of the glass, which can happen. great job (And I see the tee shirt) (SMILES)

@@SteveWB I ended up getting the DJI 6 because my phone is a Google Pixel 6, plus I want to use my GP Hero 8, so I bought an adapter on eBay. Thank you so much. I really liked your video. Clean, informative and easy to understand. Tech enough but not overwhelming. I plan on subscribing.

Lighting is key! You can make a gopro look great with Lighting. My video on the Super Ride s1000 500 klm update was shot entirely on the Osmo Action.
I would research the Sony ZV1. Panasonic cameras have bad autofocus. I have to manually focus everything 90 percent of the time

Thank you for that. Quick question, on my Gopro I can see the gimbal in the picture, as the wide angle picks it up in the frame... any other way to mount it to avoid that?
not that I know of so when filming myself I would use linear mode. Then when filming in wide modes I would hold the gimble like a flashlight. Tilt it forward until the motor was out of the shot.
I'll have to try flashlight 🔦 mode. another YT channel suggested placing the plate and action camera upside down. I didn't try it, since I saw their video hours after I was outdoors.

If there was a battery adapter that could power my GoPro for at least 2 hours; I would have gotten this gimbal. Having the gimbal last 12 hours and the action cam last 20 minutes does not make sense to me. (Perhaps I should invent it 🤔)
You cam run a cord from the gimbal to the gopro to keep it powered.
@@SteveWB Nah, I also need a dummy battery in the GoPro. The GoPro will run on the gimbal's power when it's not recording, but as soon as the recording starts it switches to the internal battery. EDIT: I'm talking about the GoPro Hero 5 Black.

@@SteveWB I've just been clued into a trick. If you remove the GoPro's battery it should work. Looks like the gimbal needs to be able to handle 700mA though.
